Isothingy returns

Decided to work on this thing again:

It was basically finished a couple of weeks ago, but I wasn’t really happy with it just being a straightforward puzzle game – so, I’m doing a little more work on it to turn it into something better.

Have been doing a little bit of messing around with flash Pixel Bender, which is what’s causing the nice fadein cushion around the screen, but it seems to slow the game down quite a bit so I probably won’t keep it.

Once this one is finished up, Jonas and I are planning to return to Nexus City! Or some place very near it, anyway.

    It’s unclear to me why every screenshot of this game excites me. I really have no idea what is happening in them. But…I can’t wait.

    couldn’t you just draw a png of the fade over everything? Or does it have to be a bmp. (totally not clueless about flash)

    @Eric: Thanks! Sorry for being cryptic! It’s one of those games where saying anything at all kinda spoils it 😛

    @Mortar: Yep, I totally can, and did, just after making this post! Looks like I’m keeping it after all 🙂

    Love the isometric view, reminds me a bit of those good old Mega Drive games.

    I think if you keep to exploration and puzzles I’m pretty sure it will turn our great.
