musictool

Sometimes I wonder why I bother making plans, I never seem to stick to them anyway.

I’m on holiday at the moment, but still trying to chip away at Isothingy. I haven’t made a soundtrack yet, but I’ve been working on it – sort of. Decided that I didn’t really like any existing music tools, so I’d have a go at making my own. It’s actually going really well – maybe even well enough to be useful to more than just myself when it’s finished.

    This looks totally awesome! I’ve always wanted to make chiptune music but I just don’t have the money to get FruityLoops.

    It looks fun to use! Please make it available!

    Looking forward to Isothingy. Have you thought about what its proper title will be? Surely you are far enough along that a title can’t be too far off.

    Hi Terry, I love the scale feature and I’d love to see how you edit/author instruments.

    Is it running on Windows?

    BTW – I once wrote a guitar tab editor that works with the adlib chip, I miss those days 🙂

    Cool. Looks you’re very serious for the game, considering you’ve even written a music editor for it 😀
    Definitely look forward to it.

    Anyone else realize that the notes at left don’t match an E major scale? Should be E, F#, G#, A, B, C#, D#.

    @Whirligig
    Those notes are in fact the E blues scale if I’m not mistaken. Odd that it says Major…
