Title: VVVVVV 2 (Current Version Is V3 & V4 Demo)

 So i beat the game and it got boring...i beat it 10 times :)
so i will tell you now that im making a custom map(right now when this post was made)
screenshots won't be made because you need to go through it yourself

how do i get this damn trinket

also this map is recommended for VVVVVV pros and 50% pro's

oh and no there isn't a demo because its a W.I.P

EDIT:I Just finished making the map...here you go :)


EDIT:V3 is now released...it features an extra oh you just do it

also it now allows you to not go to the final level without all crewmates cause its hidden :)

EDIT:V4 Demo is released :)

.More rooms(space station 2)
.Extra room so you don't fall out of The second room in the ship
.a room in the HAUNTED HOUSE next with 3 trinkets

.escape from the tower 1

Please set the start point. The level is pretty much unplayable like this. Furthermore, all scripts repeat.

And there are a lot of wall glitches.

Now, I won't react like this (http://distractionware.com/forum/index.php?topic=576.msg4678#msg4678), unless you ask me to! (http://distractionware.com/forum/index.php?topic=1065.msg9732#msg9732) But this level needs a bit of fixing before it can be played.

UPDATE:this will fix the spawn glitch and a glitch where you cant enter the Pyramid

OOPS...Terminals! they act like players right? so it glitched up and pissed me off!

Terminals don't act like players, and they don't have anything to do with the start point. ???

well i did place one! sometimes my game deletes it!

That happened because of this: each object has a "necessary" tile, which is always the top left corner tile. When you place an object, the cursor is the object's "necessary" tile. If you place an object's "necessary" tile, a wall, backing or a spike in the same place as another object's "necessary" tile, the last object mentioned is deleted.

EDIT: When I have played part of your level, I'll comment and mention glitches and bad level design if they exist in there.

If you mean the scripts repeating, then look for the "Script commands index and tips" thread and read the "Tips" section of the 1st post. It's not a glitch.

Remember: you have to place 'scriptflag' where you want the script to execute, not 'script'!

number 2:script repeats

because i tryed it in VVVVVV (2.1) and it didn't work

Make the script 'scriptflag' where you want it. You can also use another name.

Also make 'script' and 'nothing', but delete them from the map after creating them.

Now there should be three scripts:

To delete a script, select it in the script editor screen (the one that shows all the scripts) and press the delete key. To delete text in a script, use the delete key while inside the script (like in a normal text editor).

Chilus03, did you build this level (with Hacker3443)? Because I had downloaded the demos from here (http://distractionware.com/forum/index.php?topic=1126.0), and I noticed one of the levels had "Chilius03" as the author and other had a link to your YouTube account has the web address.

Off-topic: Hacker3443, why don't you go back to your account?! I'm probably not the only one wondering this...

(I already read those posts but didn't understand them).

He needs that email to get the activation link. (Even if you don't allow other users to mail you, that email address is still used for other forum related things, like getting a personal message, password reminders, activation link etc (and those were just 3 examples :P)

Anyways, now my review of the level:

Story: 8.3/10

The dimension being ripped apart is something I never noticed in other levels. A good twist from the usual "the ship got wrecked."

Design: 2.4/10

There are quite a few glitches, and for the most part the levels too easy. Also, like Rainbow Dash said, once you rescue Victoria, you can't go back or forwards, making the level Unwinnable by Mistake. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/UnwinnableByMistake)

Scripts: 1.3/10

They repeat. THEY F***ING REPEAT. That gives an immediate -8 for most levels (with the exception of Dimension WWWWWW, that was a good level), and some scripts are glitchy. For example, the 1st terminal just causes some borders appear (this might be the fact that I'm using 2.0, 2.1 doesn't work on my XP)

Length: X/10

I couldn't finish it do to the  :victoria: glitch, so no rating.

Overall: 4.1/10

Not the worst level, but could be much better.

My god, that took a while.

Hay, did you know that you can make the warp direction do nothing by placing an inaccessible warp line behind the room name, then adding the warp direction? (Heck, you can even put a wall over the warp line afterwards.)
(Also, Protoman/N, the reason you only got cutscene bars was because of say(7) in the script.)

Anyways, now my review of the level:

Story: 8.3/10

When you're done with all scripts, this is how to use flags so scripts don't repeat:

Say you have placed a script (called "script" in this example) which contains the commands:

Do this for every script you don't want to repeat (replacing the red things in the _load script with flag numbers for each script and the name of the actual script).
