answering the question:

script1 goes at the top of the room and there has to be a gravity line in the exact same spot as there was the gravitron in VVVVVV
and press enter ONCE after the text(1,0,0,4) in script2
entering more or less than once will break the script

I am having another bug. When I rescue  :verdigris: , the game doesn't do anything. But in editor mode, it works just fine! Why?  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(



EDIT: OK, now it seems to work when it wants to. PLEASE fix, the level is unplayable with this bug!  :victoria:
Has anyone figured out the cause of this bug? I ran into it as well.
it's probably something to do with flags

time to be formal and use grammar again i guess

So, I've been working on a level for the past who even knows. I made this stage in the level to see if I could make decent looking tilesets. it looks good enough tbh
I also wanted to test a few gimmicks concerning entity creation mid-room. We'll see how that goes.

As of 11/6/2015 (DD/MM/YY), the Illusion Zone is available for download, in which I test gotoposition() and hideplayer() as gimmicks.

Screenshots:






INSTALLATION:

"graphics" is now located in assets.zip.
Extract assets.zip into Documents\VVVVVV (Windows)
Extract the level into the "levels" folder.
Back up any custom graphics folders!
This tileset is currently only compatible with this level!

where i had the story going was that

SPOILERS



vermilion, when teleported to the nowhere place, had travelled back in time, and that the region he was in had not been created yet. vermilion would eventually have found the polar dimension currently under construction, and then he would see himself. he'd be called over to vitellary, and thats as far as i got.
anyway, planned was that after that area, vermilion would be back where he started, in the room and correct time period, and be able to disable viridian's warp wall

thats all i had
ive been working on escape for the lab a lot because i am actually woliken xddd
Some of us might know that you are also woliken if they read the Distractionware wiki

lol who even uses the wiki its been dead for 420 eternities xddddddddddd

I'm not sure if I should go to internal commands so early, so I'll just say this:

If you use the "say" command, you can make it colored in version 2.1 and 2.2 by typing this:

say(1,yellow)
This is a yellow text box!

If you have a crewmate of the same color in that room, it will appear above the crewmate's head. Like this:

This is a yellow text
box above Vitellary!

For 2.1 and 2.2 users, hope that helped (at least a bit)!

the game hangs at the end, the "farewell" screen. i have got all the trinkets and have 2.1

That's a bug. I don't know what causes it. What also happens is the game segfaults at the end script, probably because the script is too long.
