VVVVVV Levels / Re: Agatha Christie's Poirot

Turns out that if you reload the level it fixes itself. You just need to be careful, because when the kitchen trinket is collected the background music turns off, but when you quit the music is actually playing, just behind a wall of silence created by the cutscene bars messing up. I managed to finish it, though.

Adding pictures is easy. Just upload pictures to a website (imgur? :shiny: ) and copy the BBcode thing into the post. Also, oh god are there bugs. I rescued Violet and the game froze, then I save and quitted and came back, I was in the lobby with 2 Verdigris in the wall and a flashy person under me in the floor, and a shadowy Viridian above. I was frozen. Also, the cutscene bars don't disappear in the kitchen. Try to keep script boxes seperate from other events, and make sure that things like rescuing Violet and say commands happening at the same time. It's nearly unplaable, I'm sorry. Besides, murder mysteries aren't really my thing, but it IS a new addition after all.

I have both versions, and I have to say that it's literally impossible on 3DS, but easy on PC. It's because on PC, you can fall a tiny bit off ledges and still jump, giving you an advantage of about 4 pixels. On 3DS, you have to have at least a pixel on the block's surface, and you can't get the extra pixel over without falling to your death.

lotsa spaghetti

need more download. changed name to be shorter and more appealing.

To get that trinket, you have to fall through the 2-thick floor in "Up there!" all the way to the left. On area 1.

Am I out of my mind? How do I get past "Don't Fall Down"? On the DS I'm about a pixel shy of making it every time.
It's impossible................................................. :shiny:  :victoria:

It wouldn't be a QR thing, it would be in the SD card. QR codes are pretty hard to use for such a huge file. Have you ever looked inside a .vvvvvv file? It depends on size, but... yeah.

Now renamed, revamped, and re-something else that goes with those things. It's got:
  • Crossword puzzles
  • Laboratories
  • Secret areas
  • ecroF evitisoP
  • Scripting
  • Integral music changes
  • And a whole lot more! (Well, maybe not THAT much more...)

1.3.1 NOW, it's in its final state. I might add to it, I might not, whatever. You can now get 13 trinkets, two of which are OMINOUS, one of which is CHEAP, and the rest are scattered around.

1.3!!!!! Version that has a room of ominousness.

1.2.2b Buggy version that I can't figure out why, but crashes in Ominous Entrance when you warp to it.

1.2_1 Aesthetic changes.

1.2_02 Minor bug fixes and new area and stuff placeholder logic blah update.

1.2 *OLD* Now the level contains content, bug fixes, an emergency entrance, a rare cab, and a butan to push.

1.1 Added more scripts and added an additional trinket

1.0: Initial release (yeah)

I didn't get VVVVVV on Steam, because I didn't want to wait for updates. Besides, it isn't that hard to take screenshots with PrtSc.

Why is there all this blank space in the player levels?
