~ VED truly is, an invaluable tool for the aspiring VVVVVV level maker and for experts alike. ~

Behold, the best thing since sliced bread!

Main page!

Download page!

The In-game editor is okay, but it does lack in some regards. But with VED, all the things you want are in it! (And if they're not, you can suggest the ideas Here!)

Ved is now in full release, and has many features like:

  • New tools, such as a 7x7 brush, a 9x9 brush, etc, and brushes that cover the entire width or height of a room
  • An undo/redo feature
  • Add spikes to a wall/platform in one click
  • View a map of the entire level in one click, ability to save the map as an image
  • The ability to copy and move rooms, even between different levels
  • Syntax highlighting and basic error reporting in the script editor
  • Level notepad in which you can keep notes, changelogs, ideas and more
  • Search feature for scripts, room names and level notes
  • Plugins feature that allows you to change Ved in almost any way
  • Copying and pasting text
  • Being able to see which flags have been used in the level, and which have not
  • Giving flags names that can be used directly in scripts
  • A simple button that allows you to write an entire script in internal scripting
  • Being able to check if any limits have been reached, like the 500 scripts limit and the limit of 20 trinkets in a level
  • A built-in help feature
  • The ability to compare differences between two versions of a level (or two different levels if you want)
  • Works directly with VVVVVV's level folder, so no need to move levels around. Also supports custom tileset images!
  • Multi-platform (Windows and Mac executables have been released, no need to use LOVE anymore)

VED was made by Dav999 (You might know him, he's a moderator here and he's the admin for ToLP 2)

Oh, and you can even develop plugins! Have fun  ;)

- A special background tool that will not replace any existing solid walls
- An undo feature
- Being able to automatically make a script load only once
I don't think these are implemented yet...

Ved is still super useful though!

It works fine for me in Chrome (apart from, interestingly, the navigation bar links that have no text specifically in Chrome, I'm surprised nobody has pointed that out yet)

You can remove the S from https, but the error shouldn't occur in the first place. Is this happening to you on other sites?

The navigation bar issue in Chrome is now fixed.

FUCK.I used IE and it doesn't work either.
I found this on the internet.
lvscheck.****.net_ssl.conf in /usr/local/nginx/conf/include/

change  ssl_protocols SSLv3 to ssl_protocols      TLSv1 TLSv1.1 TLSv1.2 SSLv3;
(I know nobody is going to get this so it's like i've said nothing)

No, it only uses TLS 1.x.

Is this happening on any other site?

Can any of you guys help me with this problem?

The Ved window is too big, I can barely see or do anything. I tried to resize it, but I can't.

It seems to me that the magnified content inside the window is the big problem

Isn't there anyway to make the window fullscreen?

My resolution is 1366 x 768.

I really want to try Ved out, but this problem is preventing me!  :victoria: :victoria: :violet: :violet:

also hmm your screen must we very small

I edited my post, fixed the image and added info so..

can you maybe try to help me a little more?

Dav999

Seems like you turned on 2x scaling accidentally.

To fix it, you need to go to %appdata%\LOVE\ved\settings.lua and set s.scale to 1.
