would they give me the key of the game for steam?

Why not just purchase the game on Steam if you want it on Steam?
I man, they cost the same in both places.

To answer your question, I highly doubt that any non-Steam website will give you a key, the game used to run in flash, and was an external download. Now, it still is. Some of the time.

Not quite - fastspring add sales tax after sale, while steam do it before. So you probably won't save money that way, sorry :(

You know Terry doesn't live in the US, right?

Try clicking the country drop-down in the top right. Each country has a price in local currency, at a reasonable exchange rate.

@Posu: Generally, the only way to get a steam key is to buy a steam copy. If you're patient, though, VVVVVV is likely to be discounted and/or bundled on steam this holiday. Too bad you missed the Humble Indie Bundle 3.
