Viridian disappeared

Hi, I'm currently replaying VVVVVV. I'm currently having trouble after saving and restarting VVVVVV in the middle of The Final Challenge. Viridian seems to have disappeared, and the rest of the level scrolls without hesitation. Is there any way to remedy this? I'd really like to complete this save.

Quicksaving on tower levels (The Tower, Panic Room and The Final Level) doesn't work properly in 2.0. In 2.1, it works, however.
