“Vertex Vortex” is a level by Matt Thorson, the creator of some of my favourite platformers ever (like An Untitled Story, MoneySeize, and Jumper Three, among MANY others). If I’m honest, I’m a bit of a fanboy when it comes to his games, so it was a real thrill to see that he’d made a VVVVVV level.
Most of his games are so difficult that they make VVVVVV look like Kirby’s Dream Land in comparison, but his VVVVVV level is actually pretty easy compared to most other player levels!
This one’s short, polished, and a lot of fun.

To play a VVVVVV player level, extract the .vvvvvv file into your VVVVVV levels folder. On windows, that should be in My Documents/VVVVVV, on Mac it’s Documents/VVVVVV, on Linux it’s ~/.vvvvvv

Cool one Matt, made me have to think on the fly at places instead of working things into muscle memory!
I’ll be honest, I misread the title as “Vexing Vortex”. It reminded me of a user-submitted Captain Viridian chapter for Super Meat World by that name. (https://supermeatboy.com/forum/index.php/topic,1369.0.html in case you want to look at it)
I played through Vertex Vortex and found it pretty easy but very enjoyable.
This could be interesting, as I am a huge fan of Matt Thorson’s games as well. Speaking of which, I need to play his latest….
Anyway,
Andrew, of course it’s hard! You should play some of this guy’s games, and then you’ll never know the distinction between easy and hard again!

Hey can someone help me out? I want to find all 5 trinkets in the level but i can only find the ones on the logical conclusion, junk pit, celing and the big drop, so HELP! please.
