With Naya’s Quest finished, I’ve gotten back to work on what’s kept me busy for most of this year – Halting Problem.
I feel like this game has the potential to be something really special. So, I’ve decided I wanna give it all my energy, and enter it into this year’s IGF. The submission deadline is just three weeks from now! It’s not going to be anywhere close to finished by then, but hopefully it’s just enough time to make something which gets across why I like this idea so much.
I’m probably going to hold off saying much more about this until after the deadline. Here goes everything!
This graphics and these colors remind me of VVVVVV, one of the best puzzle experiences I has ever had.
I am cheering for Halting Problem! Good luck, Terry!
You can do it, Terry! I’m stoked for this one.
Best of luck to you Terry! I love your games and this one looks like it might be my favorite.
super exited, keep up the good work!
Best of luck with deadlines, deadlines have a tendency of flying by.
Anyways I’m very fond of what I’ve seen so far, the smooth gradients over pixel art is a really nice touch, and retaining a colour scheme close to VVVVVV definitely makes it stand out already.
So… what’s with the zombie robots?
Godspeed, Terry. Know that all our hopes and dreams go with you, where no man may follow.
Seriously though – what you’ve said about this game up until now sounds fascinating. Like it is going to activate all the confusion-pleasure centers of my brain and re-write part of it to accept a new logic the way VVVVVV and Super Hexagon did. Or maybe just be super-fun and charming? I will happily await the trip in pleasant anticipation.
loved super hexagon.
loved vvvvvv.
will love halting problems if it goes to steam.
gradients <3 <3 <3, if the gradients go, i'm NOT BUYING 😛
First thing I thought of when I saw “Robot Rock” was Daft Punk. 😛
