Don't get me started on Hyper Hexagonest. That one wave still kills me EVERY SINGLE TIME. I even tried to study and practice it in the slower Hyper Hexagon mode (where they also appear), but they kill me there as well. My Hyper Hexagonest score is basically a matter of when these suckers appear to kill me. :'(

However I have an issue with Gamecenter achievements. My score upload fine but I didn't get the triangle or pentagon achievement (I'm The Beast007 and I sent you a friend request Terry). I have an iPod touch 4th gen, iOS 6 (that's right:D). I did everything first without wifi and the point, line and square achievements synced. The triangle one I even saw the banner saying I achieved it form game center. I never got a banner for the pentagon, though I did for the first four "shapes". I even did Hyper hexagon again in wifi and it didn't change. Also, I signed in and out, restarted, etc. This is all the info I have and a sync achievements button (check if score is > 60 seconds, then give achievement) would be a real help. Maybe change the "clear records" button to "data" and have both sync achievements and clear data as sub options on the linked screen. Please reply Terry, I don't want to find out that after beating Hyper Hexagonest no one will ever know (and my ocd will kill me forever after).

A small bug: if you get a score which was already your high score, it will say 'new record', even though the record hasn't changed. It happens three times in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS0JgYHO3ts)! (not meaning to make a spambot-like post)

Always right, right, left, left, left. This wave on Hyper Hexagon is only one direction throughout, but that direction varies. Other variations on this wave appear after Hyper hexagonest. Don't switch directions (the ...right, left... part) quickly, leave a tiny pause. You will get the hang of it. Btw, I really think that hexagonest is ridiculously hard. In case you're wondering, after 60 seconds of Hyper, it goes to this "super hyper" of sorts with a different color scheme. After another 60 seconds, it suddenly becomes Hyper Hexagoner, but with the Hexagon music. Then, it goes to "Super" Hyper Hexagoner. Not sure past that, but I'm guessing it goes to Hyper Hexagonest ... yeah, still a line in that one ...

If you think about it, each Hyper Mode is the opposite of its respective normal mode. Hexagon - Red, warm color. Hyper Hexagon - Blue, cold color. Hexagoner - black, neonish borders. Hyper Hexagoner - white, neonish borders. Hexagonest - Colorful, changes constantly. Hyper Hexagonest - Colorless, constant white. I like that motif. :)

That's the only mode I ever play anymore, apart from the occasional Hexagoner/Hyper Hexagoner.
Also, the bonus part makes me feel very very tense, making me very very prone to mistakes, causing me to, well, make mistakes. I hate it. Yet, I love it. :victoria:

Unlike the other game modes when it comes to the super part this one feels like a completely different game mode, it even looks like a different game. :vitellary:
It's hard to get good on it, but the first step to master it, is to master the first 60 seconds. The more you get there, the more you will be able to pratice on it.
I got there around 50 times and in most cases I die around 80s, or even on the very first obstacle. :verdigris:
The sad part is that you will die a lot praticing, and then you will have to wait another 60s (or more) to get there again! :victoria:

But, yeah, occasionally, I do get there and then either do a fairly good run until
I take a wrong turn somewhere, making it a no-win situation, helplessly watching as the walls move in to crush my little arrow. Usually happens a second or two away from my current record.

Yes! Now I did it on my iPod too! ;D Because I was thinking about something else! I got 'new record' at 58 seconds and I realized that I was beating it at 59 seconds. If my old record was 5 seconds shorter, then I would have started pressing directions randomly.
I think that in general, a lot of the deaths in Hyper Hexagonest between 45:00 and 59:59 must have been caused by 'OMG I'M NEARLY THERE OMG OMG LEFT RIGHT LEFT OMG... Game over.'
I sometimes notice I've gotten far when I hear the part of the music which you hear only if you've survived for 40 seconds... Then I start paying attention to the time and I can start all over again.

Basically, yeah. Someone needs to be at the top. I don't prepare for super hexagon, super hexagon prepares for me. What is so hard about the game anyway? All it is is a bunch of shapes. No strategy, no opponents, just shapes.

if you pass 120 seconds on a level does it go into a hyper hyper mode or can only get that on 60 seconds on a hyper mode?
120 = Bonus
Hyper 60 = Bonus
It's kinda similar except
Hexagonest 120 = Final Hexagon
Hyper Hexagonest 60 = Final Hexagon.
