My really long level! It's going to be 12x11! With 20 trinkets!
Changed name...

The game is complete! Right now here is all the zones I made...
Completed (And kind of tested):
Green Zone
Blue Zone
Pink Zone
Red Zone...
Yellow Zone
Skyblue Zone
Gravity Zone
Gravitron Zone
Viplup Zone (???)
Danger Zone(Hard)
Mountain Maze...?
Tower Zone(Too short)

The short ones are hard(Except Viplup Zone)

V1.0: Released (2 downloads)

V1.1: Gravity Zone is now a tiny easier. (Don't know about the crash... :victoria: ) (9 downloads)

V1.2: A teleport that goes to the other zones is changed. (50 downloads)

V1.3: Took out the Gravitrons that made the (weird) glitch on this game. (7 downloads)

V1.4: Fixed the Gravitron for the Gravitron Zone. (3 downloads)
Also moved a trinket in the pink zone.(Because someone thinks it's impossible)
Added some multi-colored rooms.
Fixed a issue that makes you from the Yellow Zone to the Mountain Maze Zone.

V1.5: Changed the warp directions in the Final room for the Viplup Zone.
Also added some more multi-colored rooms.

How many zones will it have? I just want to know the fraction of your level that's already made. Is it 20%? 50%? Just to inform you, but, it isn't normal to post about a level when <50% is done. However, I guess it's OK, so, there's no problem if you still haven't made 50%.

need any bug testers? bugs would get fixed quicker if you gave bug testers the level. You could fix a bunch of bugs, if there are any, before it is even released.

And, yes, it's a good idea to release a beta version, even if you still haven't made 50%, to find glitches, and to see how your level will be.

This level is so similar to my level (currently in progress). For an example, I did that thing too (spoiler in FIQ's post) and I did put texts of showing two ways to :shiny: callenge and to a crewmate. I cleared the levels but didn't find all :shiny: . Good level!  :viridian:

I beat it, but some rooms need more checkpoints IMO. The enemy test, for example. That should at least have a checkpoint if you are halfway done.

Oh, and is 310 deaths many for a first time? :P

Okay, I have played part of the beta (Red Zone and part of the Pink Zone).

Those two jumps at "(What the?)" are a bit hard, mainly the first one. I had to use space to flip instead of the up/down arrow keys (like I usually do) to pass that. The iPod trinket seems impossible to get, because there isn't enough space for :viridian: to enter. The puzzle of the zone was a bit interesting, but I didn't think of the solution (After going through the "Long lost path" rooms twice, I gave up, went back and then I realized what the solution was!. Why did you (Piplup) tell the answer?

About the Pink Zone, was this based on :violet:'s zone in "Vertiginous Viridian"? They're so similar! They have the same type of challenge, same crewmate, same song. It's also similar to path 1 in ... some level with 4 paths. The challenges themselves are different, I think. The last room is different from the others, as it isn't about running. That room is very hard, I still didn't compete it.

Gravitron Zone is impossible to beat without dying when it's cleared - I successfully teleported without dying when it deactivated, and thus made the game crash (as the bottom gravity line didn't have any time to disintegrate properly).

Also you can get to the "secret" zones part w/o getting 5 trinkets from the yellow path, is this intended?

You know they're not secret since you need to beat them... I would just put a trinket in a secret place and named it secret zone.

What I meant was, you can get past "Get 5 trinkets!" area by going into it from the yellow zone without having 5 trinkets. Was this intended?

A level with many scripts is more like a story mixed with a game. It's kind of you're playing a story...

I voted for the long level and the scripting level because I like levels with story, as well as trinket gates, switches, etc.
Piplup: In cases like that one (the votes finished with a tie) you should make a mix. Example: the votes tie with "normal level" and "scripting level". You should make a normal-sized level with scripting. That isn't possible if the poll ends in a tie with, for example "normal level" and "long level", though. In that case you should decide yourself.
Also, the vote didn't really end with a tie, as you looked at the poll 2 hours before it ended. It ended up with "scripting level" as the most voted.

I really like this level. There is only 1 thing I don't like about 2 rooms. (I'm not saying you should fix them)

In Teleporter Rush and Flippin' in action, you are forced to die to get the Trinkets.
I'm just not the biggest fan of Trinkets I'm forced to die to get them.

EDIT: You actually don't have to die to get the Trinket in Teleporter Rush.  Also, the Pink Zone is too unpredictable.

This is my 300th post! :) I decided to report a glitch about this level and comment about part of the level in it.

I went to the graviton zone. Nice and original use of internal scripting! It made me have >50 deaths (it's a guess) while I normally have ≈20 deaths in the regular Gravitron. I doesn't work completely, though. Did you test that part of the level? The Gravitron itself works well, but when you touch the warp token, you move automatically very fast, changing rooms. Various rooms flash, until, you reach a green room that warps horizontally. You can't see yourself (Viridian) on the screen. Pressing any arrow key (well, at least one at a time), the action key, enter, esc or R doesn't do anything. I had to exit VVVVVV.
Try opening the bottom of the gravitron room, making it warp horizontally, open the top of the room below and then put the warptoken there. Test the graviton zone before you release 1.3. (or 1.2.1, whatever you call it) so that it doesn't have glitches in there.

EDIT: Oh, and I din't reach the rooms Kirby1000 mentioned, but, if what he said is true, then change or remove that trinket. Suicide trinkets are considered bad level design and I concord.

If you bought it on Steam, there should be an option for re-downloading. Look for it (I don't know where it is).
If you bought it on Terry's website, there should be an option for re-downloading on the e-mail it sent you.
If you bought anywhere else, try looking for an option for re-downloading. If there isn't any, try e-mailing Terry with any kind of receipt.

This level is good, but it glitched up on me once. I left Viplup till last, and after the final challenge it glitched out and showed me many rooms very quickly, all in a row. I couldn't do anything except click the X in the top right corner. So next time I did Viplup earlier, it worked fine then I completed the rest of the level.

What causes that glitch where it shows lots of rooms like that very quickly?

EDIT: Also, that checkpoint that's the wrong way up must be avoided otherwise you get permanently stuck if you die.

I'm not completely sure but I believe the gravitron problems that people have in custom levels stem from not having a complete gravity line, or leaving the gravitron too fast (i.e. the gravitron doesn't start quickly enough when you go into the room, or it starts too fast).

They are not death trinkets... You just have to move fast...Unless if you want to change it.

Interesting level.
I encountered a glitch though. When I was in Mirror, Mirror, and I died and was sent to Mountain Maze.
I thought it is because the checkpoint is floating.
But even after I changed its direction, I still got sent to Mountain Maze :(
So I just place it in another place and go through Yellow Zone again...

Also is NEVAR! even possible without extreme precision?

I fixed it the glitches you said. I'm ??? not sure how did that happened... But even if you flip that checkpoint, you still went to the Mountain
Maze Zone. Odd.

I also made change the room name from NEVAR! to something else. I also made it a little easier.

I'm trapped in FINAL DODGE!
The room warps in all direction and there's no warp tokens.
I've completed the Gravitron but I can't escape :(
Is there any trick to it?

I think it's better to test the entire level to avoid obvious mistakes like that one (assuming you refer to Final Dodge).

I think it's better to test the entire level to avoid obvious mistakes like that one (assuming you refer to Final Dodge).

I should really look out for mistakes... like the most common mistakes everyone should catch...
But dosen't everyone make mistakes?
