VVVVVV / Re: Edge Games

Edge Games is a very difficult room. Took me a long time to figure that one out. It's more of a puzzle than DTTHW, but it shouldn't take as long.

It's not only about how fast you flip, but when.

Yes, it's a bug, but it's totally hilarious. I think Terry left that one in there on purpose.  :viridian:

I want to respond "The users on Kongregate are illiterate", but in the interest of avoiding hyperbole, I'll say that there are a vocal minority of Kongregate users with low literacy.

Doesn't quite have the same bite to it.

Spare the rod, spoil the child.
The users on Kongregate are illiterate.

I admit, I really liked XOLDIERS. And Don't Look Back. VVVVVVV is also pretty awesome.

VVVVVV / Re: Differences from Beta

I would say the big difference is that the controls are a lot less slippery. They seem tighter. You're capable of much finer control in moving since the beta.

Gosh, I'm really disappointed.
I was just hanging around through the options and unlocked everything just to "try". And now you are saying that I just completely changed part of my game experience only because of that.
Decisions made to fit with the more casual gamers will kill me one day.
I will not start the game again now that I've completed the Do thing the hard way...

You could always, I don't know, clear your save data and start again? It won't take you that long.

They also unlock Time Trials as the game goes on, if you rescue the right person and have enough trinkets.

You just need to think about the behavior a screen exhibits when you die, and where you wind up. This one's tricky.

Sure, but how do you get it in No Death mode?  :D

...I don't think you can! Hmmm. Never tried No Death Mode myself. Damned if I can S-Rank any of the time trials except the Tower.

I distinctly remember cursing your name quite a bit during this one, Terry. :)

"I'm Sorry" at most requires you to go through 1 room since the last checkpoint. "Doing Things The Hard Way" requires... um... 9 or 10. Sure, there's backtracking, but still.

And it's only gotten harder since the beta!

Way to highjack a thread, you evil dominators!  :)

C-C-C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!!!

The game is out now
You can enjoy the game now
I hope you like spikes

Intermission one
Might be a little bit hard
Maybe Murderous

You know what? Screw Haiku:

We can flip if we want to
We can leave your crew behind
Cause your crew don't flip
And if they don't flip
Well they're, no crew of mine
I say
We can go where we want to
Dimension they will never find
And we can act like we come from VVVVVV
Leave our old world far behind
And we can flip
And Sing!

As for the Gravitron, you're lucky it's as forgiving as it is. It could be much, much worse...

For me, I had to click the "Return to donation coordination site" link at the bottom when my payment went through. Then it started.

Bugs happen. We know this. Hopefully, this thread won't have much activity. But it's good to prepare for eventualities, and have a centralized place to put them so that they can be addressed and fixed.
