VVVVVV Levels / VVVVVV Adventure 2 0.9
August 30, 2015, 04:41:10 AM
This is the third game in the VVVVVV Adventure series, taking place after VVVVVV Super Adventure. This time, the level is non-linear. If you're new to the forums, you might have no idea what this is. I recommend that you play this level anyway. Also, this has nothing to do with A Souleye Crewmate's level, just so you know.

I haven't 100% completed the level, but it's mostly done anyway. Please give feedback and report any glitches that occur.

Verdigris normally can't flip in my levels. Deal with it.

(Also, this doesn't have much to do with VVVVVV Adventure)

This time, I made a linear level with 8 stages:

  • Super Adventure Space Station
  • Super Adventure Laboratory
  • Gravity Drop Area
  • Super Adventure Space Station 2
  • Super Adventure Warp Zone
  • Intermission 1: Line Gravitron
  • Intermission 2: One Way Maze
  • The Final Level - Intermission 3: Super Adventure Stability Generator
You go from one stage to the other via warp token.
I tried making this an updated version of VVVVVV Adventure, but it was too hard to make a decent level out of that, so most of the screens are new. I made some new screens based off VVVVVV Adventure, though.

Vermilion gets interested in scars.

After many adventures, Viridian becomes famous. But fame doesn't come without danger...

A story - based level with little gameplay.

QuoteIt was a normal, quiet day on the D.S.S. Souleye. Viridian and Vermilion were playing, Verdigris and Violet were listening to the jukebox, and Vitellary & Victoria were studying things. But suddenly...
*flash*
A noise came into the D.S.S. Souleye. Viridian and co. were worried. Then, without warning, Viridian was teleported!
"Help!"
"Captain! We're coming!"
When Viridian opened his/her eyes, there was a vermilion Villi with a bright red scar on his face, beside two holes in a wall.
"W-Where am I?"
"Hehehe....'
"I have you now! The most famous Villi around here!"
"You...shall die!"
*gulp*
"Are you a boy or a girl?"
Viridian had zero answer. Viridian didn't even have a specified gender! (note the he/she in the seventh line of the fanfic)
"Uh..."*gulp*
"Answer me! Are you a boy or a girl!?!?!?"
*sweating*
Eventually, Viridian chose "boy".
Come on! Arrghhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Viridian was dragged into a hole in the wall. Viridian saw things that are not meant to be seen. It was a lot worse than the "death cell" they made after a few attacks to the ship.
Viridian was tied to a chair. Sweating nervously, Viridian wondered what the Villi was going to do.
*Meanwhile...*
"Wait! I know how we could save our captain!"
*.........*
"Sounds like a good idea!"
Everyone became happy. Everyone on the D.S.S., that is...
*Meanwhile...*
The Villi picked up a V-gun and pressed the trigger. Ten times. Viridian was wincing in pain as the bullets reached the captain.
Viridian survived, though. Seeing this, the Villi dragged Viridian into another place.
You might have survived that... can you survive THIS? Muahahaha!...
Viridian was dropped into a pit a yottametre high. (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 metres according to Wikipedia) There were spikes on the walls surrounding the pit. Viridian flipped right away to get out of the pit. Of course, the walls started to close in. Viridian just barely managed to escape from the pit.
"You survived that too???!!!??? Very well. YOU SHALL DIE IN THE LAST TRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Viridian was teleported to a area with a ceiling and a floor. And warping in all directions. Then, the surfaces started to close! Viridian's going to get crushed!!!
Well, that would've been the case, if it wasn't for...
"Captain!"
*flash*
*flash*
*flash*
Viridian disappeared. The red Villi nearly burned the entire area around him when he found out that Viridian escaped, with only a scar created by a bullet.
"CCCCCaptain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Ooh, that looks cool!"
Viridian's back on the ship. Violet and Victoria helped Viridian do something to the scar on his/her face.
After that, the crew went back to doing whatever they were doing.
"That scar looked very cool..."
Oh, and here is the level. I'll post the level on d.ware as well.

After Viridianclone turns good, the crewmates go back onto their ship... when yet another interference forces them to get into their new escape pod and go to the nearest safe place.
Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned...
Only Violet managed to get in the pod before the other crewmembers are teleported away. Fortunately, the place the crewmembers were teleported to was close enough to the place Violet went. They're in the same dimension!
And here's where gameplay starts:(oh, and this is also where the actual level starts. The story isn't in the level.)
wakes up to find in another level. After  :viridian: finds a warp token,  :viridian: goes to Violet.
:D
I know that I'm not too good at editing.
Here's the actual picture:
Wait, 5 crewmates remain??? ???
What? ???
Pictures:(All of them from first level)

Also, I made a few smileys:

Objection! That was objectionable! Sustained. What???<The court system didn't improve much...

Like the first Cage Trouble, this level focuses on the trinket challenges, trinket cages, and trials.
However, it's a bit different...

It starts with Viridian getting information on the case. Viridian has to defend a Villi named #$%^. Yeah.
Even is #$%^ is cyan, and the terminals said that it was a blue Villi, Viridian has to defend #$%^ anyway.

This time, there are only three trinket challenges. They're based on DTTHW(!!!), Prize for The Reckless, and Edge Games. < all of them slightly easier than the ones in-game.

Of course, there's a Trinket Challenge based off this. It's 5x3 this time, instead of 3x3. Also, it adds more challenges.
(Also, I know that "Seeing the Blues" is a terrible name.)

Defeat Viridianclone once more! (spoilers)Make Viridianclone turn good!(/spoilers)
Take down bad witnesses one by one in a trial and watch breakdowns entirely made of flashes and delays! Which are better than Damon Gant's! -shapes t1

Download: Now complete 1.3! (made by ShinyWolf07. Now, I'll say who made the latest version.) (0.0 is complete state, AKA personal release, 1.0 is final until problems revealed, AKA public release)
Any comments? :viridian:

VVVVVV Levels / Some Mario VVVVVV Crossovers I made
August 25, 2014, 02:07:01 PM
Since there are so many levels like this, I decided to make some ones as well.
SMB 1-3 was the first playable level I made, back when I didn't know much.
SMB came out when I started scripting.
Another Mario Level didn't have any internal scripting, but I used a lot of creative concepts. 1-2.
Yet Another Mario Lebel Level was just another one of my levels, nothing special. 1-4.
Mario 4-4 was released rather recently, with internal scripting to loop.
Here they are (Another Mario Level is my favourite). :viridian:
-----August 8, 2014-----
ShinyWolf07 made a few changes to my level. I updated the attachment accordingly.

Violet and Viridian do Intermission 2.
I feel dizzy... Woah! What is this?
Gravitrons are old as far as internal scripting goes. I think I made a dozen of them, and I wanted to make a level full of them. But how about the original one?
This isn't an exact copy, but it's very close. Except the last room. It took forever Almost forever to make the other four rooms anyway.
August 24, 2014 at 1:30 PM...
Here's a version made by ShinyWolf07 that I edited to not have the map shown.

Object-Overruled!:vermillion:What???!??:victoria:

So, this is one of my recent levels, after I learned scripting but before I started using flags or internal scripts. Captain Viridian and friends are captured by an evil clone of Viridian. Viridian escapes, only to be put on trial and declared "GUILTY". Viridian then has to go through another trial and then a few challenges based on trinket rooms in the real game. Will Viridian succeed in rescuing the other crewmembers?
And if you want to play only the trinket challenge part, I made a level that's a remake of said part. It gives the rooms names, makes them much better, and should be tried.
What a bad court. At least it's not official...

If you want something like , use :viridian:Quote that if you can't see.

Now I have internal scripting in it ;D! It should be the third attachment. :viridian:

And now I have an even newer version that lets Viridian escape the first cage if you activated the trinketcheck1 script that lets you escape ;D.
Any comments?
