Hi everyone! I am a new member here, and this is my first level.

Description:
This level is a tribute to another level from a famous game. It is also a puzzle -- can you figure out what that level is?

To clarify, there is a famous level in a famous game which I enjoy, and this VVVVVV level contains many references to that level. If you are the type of person who just wants some challenging gameplay, do not worry about the puzzle part -- you do not need to figure it out to win. If you are the type of person who likes puzzles and riddles and stuff, hopefully you will enjoy this one.

If you think you have solved it, post a comment, and I will tell you if you are right. Or, if you have any criticisms about either the gameplay or the clues, I would appreciate those too.

Enjoy!

Wow!  This level is great! :viridian:  It combines the riddle elements and the challenge nicely, it's not too much of either.  I'm not the biggest fan of riddles myself, but the music notes are definitely something I've never seen in a player level before!  I reeeeally like the quicksand room, how there's not just one way to solve it, and it really makes you think.

A minor gripe I have is the first section of music notes, which I found to have extremely precise timing of flips.  Perhaps you could add a checkpoint or two on the conveyor belts so the player doesn't have to start from the very beginning of the section if they die.

All in all, I really enjoyed your level, and I hope to see you around!  Welcome to the forum! :viridian:

Thanks to both of you!

Quote, I took your advice and added that checkpoint.

Is it the Stone Tower Temple from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask?  I knew the music notes spelled out something familiar, and the roomtext "...leaving no corpse" in the trinket room (8,3) confirmed it for me.

Exactly! Good job.
