I'd end bad endings with a fadeout and gamestate 81.
166. Don't put a secret sequence that does something and not give a hint.

If Terry is ever active again (cuz idk if he is, i havent seen him post anything ever) he should update the game to add that. It would open up a lot of things, mainly being able to make the game quit and going back in you are in a different room or something.

103. An ending that sends you back to the menu with a certain internal script.  This prevents players from ever having stars next to the level in the menu.
What if it's after a bad ending or a demo level or something lol

Looper - The room loops, and must exit via Warp token

Maze Of Confusion - Use this for a bunch of rooms and make scripts to make it look like a very complicated maze. (I'll add a link to an example level, cuz I'm nice like that)

Lollipop - A Spiral with a warp token in the middle. It should have enemies and spikes as to oppose a challenge.

Dead End - Make a dead end. Put a script 2 blocks wide at the entrance that will teleport you to a clone of that room, but leaving the cloned room will lead you into a different room. (again, I'll provide example)

I would like credit for these ideas, mostly because two of them involve internal scripting. I go by Yolotroll101 and MemeLord. :P

ok, so step one, have the shortcut in a place where things can be dragged to it. Next step is to navigate to
C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/vvvvvv/ After that, copy the graphics folder into the vvvvvv folder in your documents. Open the copied folder and find sprites.png. Drag that picture into the shortcut from earlier to edit it. I recommend creating a temporary layer to outline the borders of each sprite as to not have anything get cut off. Simply save it once you're done and launch VVVVVV. Putting the graphics folder in the vvvvvv folder in documents tells the game to use those files, so your sprites will appear!

PS: NEVER alter the VVVVVV folder that's in the steam folders, because ANY changes to it, such as adding a file will cause the game to never launch again, and you'll have to re-download it!

hmm... so is there a way to do a custom level save via commands? If so, that would open many options to me for levels!

When using this gamestate, will it save in a slot for the main game, or will it use the ceustom level saves? (main game slot = save option while playing the main game, and custom level saves = the save option in custom levels that saves the spot :viridian: was standing and creates a file that has the name name as the level)
cool. But, how do i run it? (i'm also not good with github repository's. They confuse me. :victoria:)
ok so this one should work with LOVE 1.1? (also keep in mind, I am a smart-ish 13 year old with little understanding of how linux works, and also I have ubuntu on a samsung chromebook.)
Here is the story leading up to this point.

I had just recently gotten a chomebook. The literal FIRST thing I did was put it into dev mode and installing ubuntu. I had to learn linux obviously and now i have a general understanding on how to install crap. I had installed a few things, and now i have an issue. I had just successfully gotten LOVE (so i can use VED) and I just now tried running VED. Then I got the red screen of BS. First time running and instant crash. This is the error:

Can this please be explained to me??!? (also I definitely 100% installed LOVE correctly...)

yea, but it's going to have like... i dunno, maybe something around 30 endings, maybe more. (basically, I am a 13 year old with no life and a crap ton of time to do whatever i want) :P
