VVVVVV / VVVVVV 3DS to launch next week
December 24, 2011, 08:12:43 PM
For 160% of its Steam price.

Maybe it has some cool stuff in it? Maybe stereoscopic 3D is a hassle to develop? Maybe it's Nicalis always looking for ways to make money?

Maybe it's because VVVVVV's original asking price was 15$?

Alright, firstly, I absolutely adore the "index.php" file that [Quanyail's] attachment gives me. Not only is this file not in .vvvvvv format, it isn't even your level. You likely have little control over this issue, but I would like to congratulate you anyway on breaking something.

VVVVVV Levels / Re: Update Reaction - 2.1 Test Level

You're supposed to replace the VVVVVV .exe with the one from here, not rename the notepad document you fool.

Also, add the levels to the level directory that is not in My Documents. The other one.

Date?
Excuse me?
You mean the date last changed? If so, no.

Also, edit your posts. You have so many double posts.

80% chance that you were doing it incorrectly, Vex.

Anyway, I offer Dispensers my applause for offering an in-universe explanation for Viridian for running directly into his crew.

Why not just purchase the game on Steam if you want it on Steam?
I man, they cost the same in both places.

To answer your question, I highly doubt that any non-Steam website will give you a key, the game used to run in flash, and was an external download. Now, it still is. Some of the time.

While these things would be nice to have, the level editor doesn't really need things that aren't already in the game itself. The few new features we do have (roomtext, trinket locks, etc.) are a nice bonus. Closing the gap between the game itself and user levels (larger enemies, tower levels, etc.) should be a higher priority.

If you come up with an idea and you think you could make a great level based on it, there's nothing stopping you from making a game yourself!
Yeah, bugs haven't been popping up much recently, so we're preforming the equivalent of 90s teenagers sitting on the couch talking about what would be cool. Since we wouldn't have to do it ourselves.

Free? Terry can't buy another accordion without sufficient funds, you know.

I read somewhere that there's some sort of unique content for the game -- 'Wonder what it is.

VVVVVV / Re: Pause-Screen Request

The Steam version of 2.1 has the In-Game Steam Community, and can utilize the screenshot function Steam uses.

That aside, what were you doing to take screenshots? Simply Print Screening doesn't click out of the window at all. Though the pause doodad is a burden, is it worth removing?
