Laugherture Science would like to remind you that if you die, you can come back to life.

Still, please take advantage of the moment and make sure to take careful note of all pain experienced.

Laugherture Science would like you to die painfully, repeatedly.

This thread is for my levels that go under the name 'Laugherture Science'.

These will generally not have as much text and usually be a bit shorter.

Warped

This is a level made up of short little challenges spread up over rooms, linked together by warps. It's not too large, since it's mostly a test. If it's well received, I may make a larger 'sequel' to it.

VVVVVV Levels / Safety First - By Insani
September 15, 2011, 06:53:06 AM
This is a concept / experimental level. Inspired by Blue's Adventure, it a bit philosophical?

It tells a bit of a story, a story about an empire, where the government has an almost fetishistic desire for safety.
A massive gravity line surrounds their planet, nobody gets in or out, no more citizens flipping into space.
The only unsafe feature of this insanely safe world - pits. Any safe man would avoid them.

Entering a pit is entirely your choice. Each pit is challenging. You get no reward for completing a pit, and neither does Viridian.
You do the challenges for the challenge - there is a safe path leading to the end, requiring only three ^ jumps.
You have no reason to do each challenge. You get no reward. All you get is a challenge and a portal back to the main path after you finish.

This level features no terminals or scripts - the story is conveyed through room text, to keep the style of the level going.

VVVVVV Levels / Riot on Jolan -> By Insani

Here it is, my fourth level.  ;)

This one deals with escaping from a prison on Jolan. The main game is kind of easy, but it has 3 super hard bonus parts that give you trinkets.  ;D

(NOTE: The brutality challenges get pretty hard, don't enter them unless you're ready for a challenge (you can't warp out until you're done)

This is my third level I made, the second can be found Here

Rescue on Polaris!

A distress call sent from Polaris, thought to have no life on it, has been picked up from your ship.
You fly in to investigate, knowing not that there is quite the adventure in store for you...

A level of moderate difficulty, although the trinket parts can be a bit difficult.

NOTE: The download links for some of my first four levels seem to be broken, as such I have released them all in a pack called 'The Initial Insani', at the bottom.

This is a package of my first four levels.

Trials

After being kidnapped by some entity which seems to enjoy calling you 'Mortal', you have been forced to go through three challenges to save your crew. Luckily, this being the first level made by a mysterious entity named Insani, they're not too hard.

Riot on Jolan

This is a rather short level based on a prison break, although the story mode isn't too hard, there's a super difficult set of challenges with no checkpoints.  :viridian:

BRING ON THE PAIN!
