VVVVVV / Spike Data
January 12, 2012, 01:10:19 AM
well, after spending 50+ hours counting the spikes in the game, i now know where they all are, and the % of where each one is at.

7612 in all
Space Station - 7.12% (561 spikes)
The Laboratory - 27.32% (2152 spikes)
The Tower - 10.47% (825 spikes)
Space Station 2 - 27.15% (2139 spikes)
The Warp Zone - 6.07% (478 spikes)
The Final Level 13.09% (1031 spikes)
Intermission - 2.88$ (227 spikes)
free space - 5.9% (465 spikes)

37.1% pointing up(2824 spikes), 30.78% pointing down(2343 spikes), 15.95% pointing left(1214 spikes), and 16.17% pointing right(1231 spikes)

i actually thought the game had more, but no, only 7612 spikes...i wonder if someone can make a custom level that has more...

VVVVVV / Analog pad or D-pad?
January 05, 2012, 05:05:50 PM
seeing as the 3DS has a D-pad and an analog pad, thought i should make this.

what do you prefer using on VVVVVV?

analog so it feels smoother, or D-pad so you can get precision?

i myself use the D-pad for VVVVVV, analog isn't as precise for me  :victoria:

VVVVVV Tech Support / (3DS) bottom screen menu?
January 02, 2012, 05:27:45 AM
well, looking at the screenshots at Nintendos site ( https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/pbYF4tOod03oE7GLsEsXMnr5k0nFg-_3 ) i was wondering, is it still possible to get the menu on the touch screen anymore or was that just in an old beta version they took screenshots on?

December 30, 2011, 07:19:55 PM
got all the tokens, beat the game (2 hours and 22 minutes :D!) played some of the user made levels...but how do i make my own and import them into this version? i have not found an option in game or in the folder stored on the SD card.

:( are 3DS users gonna be able to import more levels?
