VVVVVV Levels / A Small Adventure [April Fools]
« on: April 01, 2020, 08:21:47 pm »
This is a small 5x5 level that contains basically no gameplay. I hope you don't enjoy it! This is a normal V6 level, so no VCE required, but it does use a custom tiles2.png for one of the sections.

So do levels made with this go here, in the main levels forum, or as a post in the "Open Source Projects" board outside of this thread?

Do you have to reply before you're a real fan? I've visited this topic alone like ten times already.
Yes, considering I don't have a way to see who visited the topic.

VVVVVV Levels / Land of Sunken Ships [April Fools!]
« on: April 01, 2019, 11:41:54 am »
This level was an April Fools joke. It started out as a normal level, but then the entire level was eventually overrun by Loss and 37 memes. The map of the level also formed the shape of Loss. If you still want to download it, you can still download it, but, in my opinion, you shouldn't.

Original Description:

Land of Sunken Ships is a level where you explore the bottom of a lake and find a sunken ship. While in this ship, you might discover some of its lost secrets. The level also features some custom graphics.

Map Size: 9x9
Trinkets: 0

VVVVVV Levels / Re: midair flip concept level
« on: September 02, 2018, 01:44:13 pm »
A part of The New Adventure from (a level from May 2017) used that gimmick, but because clone-Viridian was trapped in a wall, Viridian could only midair flip while upside down. (I just instructed people to save and load at the end of the section, because you can't despawn it. (I know, terrible level design, forcing people to do something or else the level breaks.))

VVVVVV Levels / GAME Version 2 [5 Years!]
« on: July 04, 2018, 09:33:41 pm »
At the moment this topic was posted, my very first level (called... well, it isn't really called anything, but I'm now referring to it as GAME) has been online for 5 years now! Like Dimension XXXXXX, this level was also very cringy. To celebrate, I've made a version 2, as 7 out of 10 voters asked for. No, not a sequel, but a version 2.

I was originally going to make a sequel to GAME where Viridian went through revised versions of all my cancelled levels, but, ironically, I cancelled it due to losing motivation. I was then planning doing another MapWeek, but that was also cancelled before the first level was even released because I found out that the Discord's creator contest started in the middle of the week. So I just made a remake of GAME.

So, without further ado, here's the download link to the level! (Sorry for no screenshots, I was a little bit rushed.)

In this video, I'll be explaining exactly what I do to beat You Need To Die in 0.5 R presses.

Jokes aside, I won't be patching this level to remove cheese, because of the whole "made in an hour" thing.

VVVVVV Levels / Re: X Squared

Version 1.1 at least fixes the cutscene bar bug in "The Con Fusing Room". (I really should have called it 1.0.1, but whatever.)

VVVVVV Levels / X Squared

In August 2013, I made a level called "XXXXXX" that was super cringy. Now, in April 2018, I've made a remake of this level called "X Squared". This is the big level I was talking about when MapWeek was cancelled. Sorry it's a little late.

Level Info
Crewmates: 5 (:victoria: :vermillion: :vitellary: :verdigris: :violet:)
Trinkets: 7
Map Size: 10x10

This level doesn't require any custom graphics, so all you need to download is the level.

1.0 (5 downloads): Initial release
1.1: Fixed a bug with cutscene bars in "The Con Fusing Room"

VVVVVV Levels / Re: The MapWeek Level Thread

UPDATE: I am cancelling MapWeek. The levels will still be available, but no new ones will be produced. I might try this again in the future, but for now, to make up for it, a bigger level will be coming out at the end of the week.

I forgot to make a MapWeek level today, but to make up for it, I'll make a bigger level tomorrow!

(triple post but who cares)

The second level, The Maze Of The Ship, is now out! Once again, the download link is in the OP.

VVVVVV Levels / Re: Starting a Level Contest!
« on: April 10, 2018, 12:18:36 am »
Alright, even though there's like 7 hours until the deadline, the first entry has been submitted! Because the level plus the graphics is over 128 kilobytes, I will use two attachments (one with the actual level and some graphics and one with more graphics).

Okay, enough with the copy-pasted message from my entry for Duckman's creator contest. I just found that it also applied pretty well to this contest's entry. Because you never said whether custom tiles were allowed or not, I'm just assuming that they are.

My level is called "Prison Escape", and in it, the crew gets trapped in a prison, and Viridian needs to help them escape. I know, a little cliché, but I had no other ideas when I started the level. So, here's the level!
