VVVVVV Levels / Death Trap - a level that's a short version of my fanfic

Vermilion gets interested in scars.

After many adventures, Viridian becomes famous. But fame doesn't come without danger...


A story - based level with little gameplay.

It was a normal, quiet day on the D.S.S. Souleye. Viridian and Vermilion were playing, Verdigris and Violet were listening to the jukebox, and Vitellary & Victoria were studying things. But suddenly...
*flash*
A noise came into the D.S.S. Souleye. Viridian and co. were worried. Then, without warning, Viridian was teleported!
"Help!"
"Captain! We're coming!"
When Viridian opened his/her eyes, there was a vermilion Villi with a bright red scar on his face, beside two holes in a wall.
"W-Where am I?"
"Hehehe....'
"I have you now! The most famous Villi around here!"
"You...shall die!"
*gulp*
"Are you a boy or a girl?"
Viridian had zero answer. Viridian didn't even have a specified gender! (note the he/she in the seventh line of the fanfic)
"Uh..."*gulp*
"Answer me! Are you a boy or a girl!?!?!?"
*sweating*
Eventually, Viridian chose "boy".
Come on! Arrghhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Viridian was dragged into a hole in the wall. Viridian saw things that are not meant to be seen. It was a lot worse than the "death cell" they made after a few attacks to the ship.
Viridian was tied to a chair. Sweating nervously, Viridian wondered what the Villi was going to do.
*Meanwhile...*
"Wait! I know how we could save our captain!"
*.........*
"Sounds like a good idea!"
Everyone became happy. Everyone on the D.S.S., that is...
*Meanwhile...*
The Villi picked up a V-gun and pressed the trigger. Ten times. Viridian was wincing in pain as the bullets reached the captain.
Viridian survived, though. Seeing this, the Villi dragged Viridian into another place.
You might have survived that... can you survive THIS? Muahahaha!...
Viridian was dropped into a pit a yottametre high. (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 metres according to Wikipedia) There were spikes on the walls surrounding the pit. Viridian flipped right away to get out of the pit. Of course, the walls started to close in. Viridian just barely managed to escape from the pit.
"You survived that too???!!!??? Very well. YOU SHALL DIE IN THE LAST TRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Viridian was teleported to a area with a ceiling and a floor. And warping in all directions. Then, the surfaces started to close! Viridian's going to get crushed!!!
Well, that would've been the case, if it wasn't for...
"Captain!"
*flash*
*flash*
*flash*
Viridian disappeared. The red Villi nearly burned the entire area around him when he found out that Viridian escaped, with only a scar created by a bullet.
"CCCCCaptain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Ooh, that looks cool!"
Viridian's back on the ship. Violet and Victoria helped Viridian do something to the scar on his/her face.
After that, the crew went back to doing whatever they were doing.
"That scar looked very cool..."
Oh, and here is the level. I'll post the level on d.ware as well.

I guess that I should clarify who I'm talking to...
I want to help put the changes in ascost tower! But I need a zip. file for 1.3.1 first... Well, I'll try with a download...
What? I gave you a zip file!! It's on page six.

It turns out that a.polar ant a.tower were 1.3.1 all along, and that attachment was ascost polar! What??? ??? :-X
Or am I mistaken? What is this?
Can someone tell me the facts? If there is nothing wrong, then let's keep going!

Oh, and please use attachments to share the level. I only downloaded ascost polar, due to it being in an attachment. If you send me an attachment of 1.3.1, then I could help ;D!
And it would also be more convenient to other people.
How to do this:
Select your level.

Right click.

Third option.

Attach that.


There you go.

After the 1.3.1 changes are put in ascost tower, can I create yet another zone? It will be the conveyor rideCan I?.

Oh, and I updated the level so the warping doesn't interfere:
Great! Just tested it and... Literally nothing has changed.
It was very minor. I guess I didn't change anything that affected gameplay :-[ .<again, weird how this>: - [<means embarrassed :-\?
It seems I only changed the background :-[ .

Okay. Also, please stop typing in red text, it looks kinda weird.
Okay then. I'll only use red text when  :vermillion: is talking. Why am I evil in that sentence???<like that.
So, should I use gotoposition to make this less choppy?

This wall is a bit too wide.
If they were to come up from the right, they'd get stuck.

I think we should leave it like that, though, so the trinket's harder to getmore confusing?.

Ok, I admit, this level is having a lot of fans, I say this but you are great, I will try to change something in Ascost Tower, which I liked a lot!  :vitellary:

Nice! No broken scripts! The only problem I had was that it was choppy. I could tell you used gotoroom().  :(
Okay. So, how can I fix it? Do you mean I made it so that  :viridian: went to the checkpoint in the next room when the script was activated in midair, when  :viridian: should've been in midair?? I'll try to fix this with gotoposition, if that's what you meant. Otherwise, please tell me in more detail.

Well, I noticed that after making my original pictures, but before I finished posting. That's why I said to change the coordinates.
Let me see if I can expand it horizontally. I did so, there seems to be no problems, I'll play to check.

I played through some of the level: not all, and not all trinkets, but I went through most of the rooms, and they still work.
I think I could still do this by expanding this horizontally.
Did you play the polar dimension? Because it uses special internal scripts. If one breaks because of the expansion, then the whole thing is messed up. >:( :(
I played from Kit Kat to the end and I didn't have any errors. What ??? ?

This level is full. There is no more room space.  :( If you expand it to make it bigger, not only will the scripts get messed up, but the rooms won't connect.  :( We should make a sequel if you really want a tower and everyone else agrees. (I think it's an okay idea, actually.  ;))
