Of course don't commit to the RRLLL once you hit the Final Hexagon...at that point, its always RR but then its RRR or LLL. You have to use your eyes and look for that space in the half second it takes you to do the first to RR's, then send that signal from your eyes to your brain and back to your hands. Insane.

So you either mean an iPad mini/iPad 3, or I have lived under a rock for the last couple of months.

Nope, iPad 4. When shopping for a new iPad, i saw the "new iPad" had the A5 processor and retina...i was dissappointed. This was the iPad 3.

Then doing research into buying this about a month ago, a week prior (beginning of november) the iPad 4 was released along with the iPad mini, sporting an A6 processor. It currently beats the iPhone 5 in benchmark tests.

Happiness ensued.

This ipad 4 has been doing this since i got it. I installed one app, super hexagon. Every 10 minutes or so, and i can feel it coming because it chokes a little, I will go through about 20 seconds of choppy, extra sensitive play, followed by smooth normal play after that. It happens in the middle of games, so you can imagine my frusteration when i hit 58 seconds and die because of the lag.

Of course its sort of an added difficulty and i have somewhat learned to work around it and just adjust my sensitivity, but with a dual A6 processor and 1 gig of ram I dont see how this could be. Perhaps a memory leak?

It is not jailbroken (as no jailbreak exists yet) and im on 6.0 ipad 4 wifi only.

I've been mostly concentrating in high scores in the lower modes (have yet to breach the top ten though...), but after 25 hours of game time, I am at the point where I can get to 60 seconds Hyper Hexagonest fairly regularly. The end mode still crushes me though   

I'm starting to master the end mode...just hit 92:52 with 137:12 before that, which beat my high score of 103 seconds.

Heres a top: start at the top right diagonal part of the hexagon. It is a safe starting spot. The hardest walls/spaces to tell apart are the ones that come in top and bottom.
The other thing that can easily get you are the notch mazes where it can either go left left right right right or left left left left left. You have to really SEE what is coming up while you are doing the first 2 lefts and work simultaneously brain and hand to decide wether the next 3 are lefts or rights.

Practice and it will become the most fun mode ever

I'd really like a way to watch the endings again after having gotten them once. I was a bit disappointed when I found out that there doesn't seem to be any way to see the endings again without completely resetting the save file.

There is! It is a simple hex edit to the same file that keeps the scores.
I have an automated script and springboard icon that does this automatically...the only thing is you have to beat Hexagonest again to unlock Hyper Hexagonest (easy stuff) and then just beat hyper hexagonest again to get the ending! You dont lose any scores either.

Will be releasing it this week!

I dont think Terry even reads this board. Kind of like throwing ideas down a sink.

Also noticed there is the SuperHexagon binary in the iphone app folder, as well as SuperHexagon.swf...i wonder if somehow we can rig it up to play on flash?

And the fruits of my labor is going to be a hack, released soon, that allows you to run this "hack" and then view the super hexagon ending again (beating hyper hexagonest of course).

Grrr..is there any way to remove this? I deleted the game and said YES, remove game center scores...

Blah, somehow i gave myself a score of 300 seconds on hyper hexagonest...and it went up on game center. Crap.
Just removed game and removed all scores from leaderboard, this sucks
