That argument is invalid, though. They're obviously pushing off the ground, resulting in a "gravity" (which is linear, meaning that it's actually zero gravity according to Newton) that carries them until the next perpendicular surface is reached, where they land on their feet with boots that give a zero coefficient of restitution. This still doesn't explain how they can strafe in midair (or how this doesn't happen whenever they walk), but that's platformer magic, of course.

I wish that Roskilla would actually post a new wish in his reply.

Super Hexagon / Feature Suggestions Topic
September 29, 2012, 06:46:47 PM
I'm creating this topic so people can post feature suggestions for Terry to see.

For starters, here's one that I'm sure not everyone has thought of. Seed the random generator every time you start a game based on the current time (up to the minute but not seconds). If you start multiple games in one minute, have an offset or similar. This is so two people can start simultaneous games and receive the same patterns without communication between devices. The disadvantage would be that people could hack their iPhones' date settings to get an unfair advantage in the leaderboards, but I wouldn't be too concerned about this.

Now only two questions remain.

1) What does Hyper Hyper Hexagonest look like?
2) What happens after then?

211:11 for Hyper Hexagon.

Oh hey, nobody's gotten that far yet?

In case you're wondering, after 60 seconds of Hyper, it goes to this "super hyper" of sorts with a different color scheme. After another 60 seconds, it suddenly becomes Hyper Hexagoner, but with the Hexagon music. Then, it goes to "Super" Hyper Hexagoner. Not sure past that, but I'm guessing it goes to Hyper Hexagonest ... yeah, still a line in that one ...

Sup.

In all seriousness, I probably won't post here that much now. I'm not really "back" per se, but I might post a couple of things.

Everything else / Re: Language
August 13, 2012, 01:26:00 AM
The "you wouldn't" versus "as you would not" difference makes sense to me, but that's probably just my stereotypical thinking that British people would speak more formally. And Dav999, I give people credit who speak English that well as a second language, given how hard a language it must be to learn.
