You sure about that? I haven't seen one in the style of Warped yet. Then again, I don't play many use created levels. Lol.

(Warped = a ton of tiny challenges strung together via warp portals)

Ugh... making VVVVVV levels just isn't that much fun anymore. Especially not when using Direct mode. Maybe I'll try to work on my new level a bit more...

Sorry for the slow progress, guys! Been struggling a bit with direct mode.

Oh well, here's an early build of it. Note it's really short.

I decided to redo the level with a more 'ruined' theme, so I'm still working on making some parts look a bit more 'ruinedish'. Note that Quadcore will probably look more advanced in the finished version.

Haha, sorry for disregarding the sequel for a bit.

To be honest, BDR's comment got me working on it again.

I'd say progress is coming along decently, although it started earlier today. I believe it should be at least 4x as long as Warped, probably more.  :viridian:

Haha. I'll try it out.

The level editor section seems a bit dead nowadays, I know it feels to wait days and not get a single piece of feedback.  :victoria:

Now on to the level!

Alright, had a hard time finding the level. You might want to change the thread title / In-game level title to match with the other.

You might want to add some sense of where to go, after promethean laboratory / aerial stunts,  I didn't know where to go and was just leaping trying to find something to explore.

Again, the lack of checkpoints is annoying - I have to redo MTSD everytime I die now, due to lack of checkpoints at the teleport-out point.

Another glitch. I can't get out of the chamber of trinkets because all the sides warp! And it's surrounded by walls, so I can't get in to the trinket and the warp.

All in all though, so far, I've found the level to be pretty creative, but it really needs more checkpoints and a sense of direction. I can't quite understand where I'm supposed to go in many places, and large spaces of blank rooms tend to contribute to this sense of uncertainty. I look forward to finishing it once it's done.

I hope that my comments help :v

You can patch it manually on steam...

But I want my achievements  :(

If any of you have downloaded it, could you give some criticism?

VVVVVV Levels / Re: "Rescuing Violet" by Stalefish

The Level editing forum died...

>:(

I could try redoing it, but I'm not sure if that'd be okay with stalefish.

'Sides, there's a lot of levels that work without needing to be rewritten - this one's only feature was the colored text.

In the beta, the new levels show up completely blank, even the ones I downloaded before.

I have the levels.rar levels in my VVVVVV folder, but their names are blank and clicking on them leads to an empty level.

If I reextract them into the vvvvvv folder while in-game, they work for that session.

It did the blank thing before I installed all the levels, I had most of them, and I didn't want to download all the new levels (I didn't play them anyway, just made levels myself usually), so I just installed the new VVVVVV before the levels.

Laugherture Science would like to remind you that if you die, you can come back to life.

Still, please take advantage of the moment and make sure to take careful note of all pain experienced.

Laugherture Science would like you to die painfully, repeatedly.

This thread is for my levels that go under the name 'Laugherture Science'.

These will generally not have as much text and usually be a bit shorter.

Warped

This is a level made up of short little challenges spread up over rooms, linked together by warps. It's not too large, since it's mostly a test. If it's well received, I may make a larger 'sequel' to it.

Download it here.

Ugh. The download links for some of the levels don't work (at least for me).

Due to this, I've added a link at the bottom to download all four of them.

As such, and to keep from this topic becoming too cluttered, I've decided to limit this thread to the first four levels.

You wanted something new? You got it!

The Laugherture Science corporation welcomes you to it's first Subject Testing Facility.

I'll see what I can do.  :-\
