Wow, brand new challenges with a familiar feel.    That super slipperiness did make it take me forever to get through it.  Haha, that was a pretty cool prototype.  And a great song.   

Did anyone else come up with some crazy ideas as to why the game was called VVVVVV when they first started playing it?  My first thought was that it was named after the rampant spikes throughout the game.  The Vs look just like a strip of spikes that Viridian's head became very familiar with in The Tower.   

When I was all smug and thought I had it figured out because of this, I asked my friend why he thought it was named VVVVVV.  He came up with something completely different.  :O  He thought that the VVVVVV looked like \ / \ / \ / as a recurring up and down pattern, just like how the game mechanics have you flip gravity for the entire game.  That was actually quite a clever realistic guess as well. 

About a year later, I woke up one morning and shouted I GOT IT!  VIRIDIAN... VITELLARY... VERDIGRIS... VERMILLION... VIOLET... VICTORIA... their names all start with a V!  And there's 6 of them.  GAHHH, DUH! 

The fact that the soundtrack is called PPPPPP and all the songs start with P kind of verifies this latest epiphany... but I'm curious if the idea I originally had and the idea of my friend also might have some truth to it as well... and if anyone else thought these up too.  XD

Popular Potpourri is my favorite of the series.  I was just mentioning I wanted to hear a remix of it about a month ago.  XD

8.4 SECONDS!  WOOOO!  I did it once and haven't come close since.   

Have you noticed though... that when you first play it after a long break, you're like "OMG!  THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!  I CAN'T LAST 2 SECONDS!  IT'S RIDICULOUS!"  But if you play it for like fifteen minutes... the way your eyes watch the blocks coming actually change, and you're almost able to elude them like a pro for almost 6 seconds each time! 

Viridian's a girl?!  WOAH!  Paradigm flipped! 

Viridian x Vermillion?  I would have never guessed. 

I'm still in shock... but actually... that's pretty awesome.   

When I was in training for my new job, I was playing with the Office Communicator... basically a work version of MSN Messenger that connects you to EVERYONE around the country who works in my department.  I was able to search for names... and I was searching all the VVVVVV names one day.  No Vitellary, no Vermillion, a handful of Violets, no Verdigris, plenty of Victorias... when I got to Viridian, I wasn't expecting anyone.  There was one...

Viridian Lopez.  XDDD  Wonder if they're a guy or girl.

I don't like the name V6 primarily because there's a chewing gum with that name here in Sweden. Other than that, I like it lots!
Just adding/removing V's from VVVVVV would probably do the trick as well, wouldn't it? Only Notch has already made VVVV.

Didn't want to start a whole new topic just to say this. 

I like to call it Sextuple V.    Without a breath between "ple" and "V."  Haha. 

My favorite is Popular Potpourri. :DDDD I can't believe nobody remixed that one for PPPPPPowerup.  T_T  That saddened me.

I really like how they're like doctors and professors... but also child-like... like sitting down and eating an ice-cream is the best thing in the world.    Being an adult with a huuuuge inner-child, I can so relate to those candi... I mean, characters.   

In February of last year I was... I hadn't really played it regularly since I beat it.  I'd been making my friend who hates twitch games play version 1.2... and was getting a lot of amusement out of that... but I really wasn't keeping up with what was new.  Last night I was watching a Youtube video I had seen last year and favorited then that had a remix of Pushing Forward and a 3D like computer-animated world.  Anyway, I noticed that it said remixes were out, and his was one of them... then I eventually found this site... then I found out about the level maker... then I found out about 2.0, and I think I'm slowly piecing things together. 

Is there anything different about version 2 besides the level maker?  :O 

I think I figured it out for the most part.  I need to get version 2.0.  I didn't even know it existed when I made that comment.  I'll mess around with it and let you know if I have any questions.

AHHHH!  That was really cute.  ^_^  It fit extremely well with the mood of the dialogue in the game and how sweet, pure, and innocent the characters were.  =3

2. What the... I don't remember an angry purple character.  =/  Well, I know Victoria was a Doctor... and Vitellary was a Professor... so... I guess the angry purple one is a doctor too.  D!

4.  WHAT?!  Ugh... it's either D or C.  I think D was at the end... I'm going to go with... C...? 

5.  It was Violet... OHHH!  Is angry purple one Violet?  Okay!  XD  C!

6.  CRAP!  I don't know... it's the extension of that level from the beginning of the game.  Probably something like "Profess
Your Sins."  That's my... best wrong guess.  XD

10. TELEPORTER ROOM!  Except at the beginning when Violet's waiting for you to come back to her.

MY LEAST FAVORITE LEVEL!  I can't remember.  CURSE YOU!  Why couldn't you have asked what the Avatar reference room
was.  UNOBTANIUM!  I remember that one.

19.  THEY MERGE INTO THIS GIANT FLASHING SOUR PATCH KID AND BREAK DOWN THE WALLS!

Hey, when you PM me to notify me how I got like 6/20, can you also give me information about the Level Creator?    I'd love to try it for myself even though I couldn't script my way out of a paper bag.  I read the tutorial, but I don't understand where I actually OBTAIN the level creator.
