this is probably my favorite VVVVVV level. yes.

18
yes internal scripting works

i can play tOLP just fine on it

i dont think copying PNG files over TEX files is gonna work. p sure they're different formats.

and anyway you forgot to actually copy the links from your GBATemp post. why is that in the Homebrew forum instead of Game Hacking anyway?

VVVVVV Help / Re: Level w/o crewmates?
« on: July 29, 2015, 11:59:08 am »
If you want to have a level clearable without any crewmates, you can use internal scripting.

You can use this:
Code: [Select]
gamestate(1011)
delay(1)
flip
endtextfast

It'll exit to the menu, marking the level complete on the levels list. Note that there has to be no crewmates placed the level, or this won't work.

Make sure you know how to use internal scripting before you use this, as on its own it won't work.

I might try to figure out a way to make it a bit more aesthetic later.
EDIT: See edited code.

It's not a good idea to make a level with trinkets that are unobtainable. Just saying.

"...programmers found the combination of "say" and "reply" without a line between them..."
"...often cause the map to crash. For safety precautions, they only use "say" blocks."
This is not necessary at all. You only need to type it like this:

say(1)
terminal textbox

viridian
textbox

As crazyal02 said, you'd be best off posting here, because let's face it, this place is dead.

Also, WHY ISN'T THIS A FEATURED LEVEL?!

Well, Terry hasn't featured any VVVVVV levels since... I dunno, 2 years ago? He doesn't seem to care about VVVVVV all that much any more, he's moved on to other projects. (Although, if he *was* still featuring levels this definately should have been featured)
