Fails to load - just a black window

I just downloaded from app store. VVVV didn't load - just a box with blank screen.  Uninstalled, re-downloaded and reinstalled, same result. Rebooted, same result. Anyone have ideas? System: 10.6.7 2GB ram

Hello!

This is almost certainly due to your flash cache settings - some people disable flash storage on macs, which prevents VVVVVV from creating a save file (which is why it hangs). To fix it, you need to change your settings to allow flash storage - on this page, make sure it's set to at least 100Kb:

Also, on this page, find the site called "local" and make sure it has at least 100kb also:

If that doesn't work, you'll possibly need to reinstall flash to reset your settings completely! Thankfully that's actually pretty simple, just follow these instructions:

Then reinstall.

I'm actually working on a fix at the moment to prevent these issues in the future. Sorry you're having problems!
