These are two levels I made to see which type is better: linear, or non linear. Both are 5x5, and the first is called Linear World, and the other is called Non Linear World.

Linear World's layout is based on mrytp's alphabet levels (you remember those, right?) and each row has its own theme; row 1 is a space station where you can find Vitellary (as well as the only trinket in the level, which is based on the final trinket of space station 2 from the main game), plays pushing onwards. Row 2 is a cave that uses the outside tileset. Here you can find Vermillion, plays predestined fate. Row 3 is a laboratory where you can find Victoria, plays potential for anything. Row 4 is a warp zone where you can find Verdigris, plays pressure cooker. Finally, row 5 is a ship where you can find violet, plays pipe dream. This level took me about two days to make.

Non Linear World is based on VVVV 4K, one of the main game's player levels which takes place entirely in the outside tileset, has no roomnames or trinkets, plays passion for exploring, and the main goal is simply to rescue all the crewmates. Non Linear World is similar, except it's 5x5 instead of 8x8. This level took me about an hour or so to make.

You can download both levels below. Let me know which type of level is better. I personally prefer  non linear levels, as they give you a bit more freedom. However, linear levels can be fun too.

Enjoy!  :vermillion:  :vitellary:  :verdigris:  :viridian:  :victoria:  :violet:
