What's even weirder is that the days surrounding it, including it, were very inactive (in terms of number of posts in each day). Also, I can't find any warning in Terry's blog about VVVVVV 2.0 besides the day it was released! If Terry wanted to warn players about VVVVVV 2.0, he woud post in his blog, right? So, that's very weird! Spambots? It would be a large coincidence to have 1900 spambots find this forum in one day, ... so, ... no. What is the reason, then?

Anyway, the forum only started to be very active on July 26, when VVVVVV 2.0 was released. Being very active, August 2011 being the month with most posts ever in this forum, it shouldn't be considered as a reference, in my opinion. With ≈19 posts/day in average in August 2012, it's active, and I think it's becoming even more active since Hacker3443 and you (Kirby) have registered.
Everyone has his opinion, though. Tell me: is 20 posts/day active or not?

It might have had something to do with spambots though. There COULD be some sites which can create a lot of accounts in a small time, plus the regular members.
