I just played this and loved it. Definitely hard, but I like that.

The optional room that requires a blue card is impossible to proceed into (room 5,9) because you can't go to the inversion plane without going to another room in between, resetting it.

Yeah, I'd noticed that as well. The divide between the terminal and the entrance to the next room is too tall to cross without going up into the room above. After taking a look at it through the level editor, I also found that the room only contains a trinket. And there's no terminal on the other side of the gravity line to unlock it from the other side. So even if you could get into the room, there's essentially no way out but R.

That being said, I have played through the level, and I must say, I found it very enjoyable. Room designs were very clever, and the rooms themselves were fun to play. Things started getting annoying in the Lab, but never to the extent that it felt unfair. The last real room (Security Lock) is very picky though, and it felt more like luck that I eventually got through it. It seems I'd always hit one of the last spikes before passing the lines. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but that was the only part I remember as being aggravating, and it looks like it's simpler than I found it to be. Speaking of the Lab, I really enjoyed the two-tone rooms, though some combinations of colors worked better than others. And the Queen reference is duly appreciated. :viridian: Overall, there can be some improvements made, but it's a very good start, and I eagerly await the rest of the level. ;D

I just figured out I already had the fixed version in my folder but forgot to upload it. It's now in the first post.

Thanks! Security Lock is one of the easiest rooms in the Lab imo though.
I didn't expect anyone to figure out the Queen reference (there's three rooms named after the song Don't Stop Me Now's lyrics)

Well, gotta start working on the third area which is now called Abandoned Facility :)

Does it use the gray warpzone tileset/polar dimension?

because if so, you can do the tilecol=6 thing again

Yeah, I figured it wasn't supposed to be hard. I just found it to be a rather tight jump, and always hit one set of spikes or the other. For a room with as little going on as it does, I died a lot there. Probably less than in other rooms, but it felt like I was missing something. Ah well.

Wow. I know things have gotten bad, but I wouldn't say THAT bad... And I knew it was a Queen reference just from the screenshot of Don't Stop Me Now. What surprised me was that it continued. I'll admit, I'm tempted in my level creation ideas to do waaaaay too much of that kind of thing, simply because the room names make it so easy to do. I have a level planned that almost every element of is a reference to something. If only I could actually think of ideas for rooms, I'm kinda terrible with that. :-X I'm more of the kind to come up with big concepts, then try to work them into a satisfactory final product. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.

I can't wait for the next bit. I agree with Toaster, this level should be featured.

Also it is easy to get past the give me a W but not so much on give me a EEEEEE because it's hard to do it normal like and impossible to do it with invincibility.

Ok?
Abandoned Facility won't use the Polar Dimension tiles. The fourth area, Polar Dimension will  :P
I guess Facility will use ship tiles. Dunno.

Oh alright.
Little tip, you may not need...

tilecol=-1/-2/-3 for unused colours of the space station. You can get them in Direct mode too.
