Hello, it's a fangame! Well, kind of. All there is at the moment is an engine test. Still, it's a start!

However, it can't be played right away. It almost can, though. First get Megazeux here: http://vault.digitalmzx.net/. It's cross-platform!

Opening Megazeux will get you a file navigator thingy. Use it to run the .mzx file linked: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwhhJqsobIVmNHVzX3VJaWpVdFk/view?usp=sharing (I hit the size limit for attachments!)

This project's existed in a couple different forms. First there was this Megazeux-based version, but the limitations of the engine led to me deciding to make it in the form of a VVVVVV level, which ended up being 000000... which also got abandoned for the same reason. At some point in the future I'd like to make it in Unity, but there are a couple levels I wanna finish first.

About a decade ago (wow), my dad recommended ZZT as a method of learning basic programming and gamedev (this was before Scratch and the like was very widespread). From there I learned about MegaZeux, which is basically an upgraded successor to ZZT.

ZZT itself is pretty interesting, given that it was the first release by Epic Games (of Gears and Unreal fame).
