i spent 2 hours fixing my map

Yes, the script editor is unstable. Everyone loses things because of this at some point. Remember this:

ALWAYS press enter after the last line of your script. If you don't, it may remove the last line, and if that line is part of a text box, the game will crash because it has too few lines. It's a serious bug, but this is one of the only ways to work around it. It's also a wise thing to open the script again to make sure the last line isn't deleted.

Some people on this forum have pointed out that if you place 'end' on the last line of your script, the game won't crash. This is because now the 'end' is deleted, instead of the dialog. It should be noted that 'end' isn't a command that's recognized by the editor.

Another important thing:

ALWAYS save your map before you press enter to test it, then you won't lose hours of work. If I notice I started to test the level but I forgot to save, then I go back to save it and test it again.

That is my experience with the level editor, I also lost levels because of this. Just learn two new habits and your level will be safe. Also pay attention that you don't accidentally overwrite a level by using an old name (say for instance you work on a level called 'map', and you decide to make a completely new level next to your 'map' level, and when you save that for the first time, the 'map' is still there and you accidentally overwrite it.)

Pressing "enter" is easier than pressing "enter", "e", "n" and then "d". So, you don't need to write "end", you just need to press enter at the end of the script.
Also, any other word, or set of words will do the same effect, since they will be erased.
