Music doesn't work right?

Why is it that on Super Hexagon (iOS) the music you are playing in Music still plays, but so does the game music. Is there any way to mute the game sound but not the other music?

And I don't think there is, except for playing music from another device.

I don't know if that also happens on iOS, though.
