Achievements that are even more difficult than Master of the Universe!

Master of the Universe is obtained by completing the game in No-Death Mode. However, there can still be even harder achievements to be earned:

Infinity and Beyond: Complete No-Death Mode with 20 trinkets.

GOD: Complete No-Death Mode with 20 trinkets within a certain period of time. In other words, this is equivalent to getting V Rank in all Time Trials in a row, and then some.

Who dares to try those two challenges? :vermillion: I know for sure that I can't :victoria:

Tukkun

These are not hard, but very frustrating because of the lack of checkpoints, blahblah...
Also, below 0.01% of the players who bought the game can complete No Death. I'm pretty sure about that.

nathanel

Actually, has anyone done it yet? But you know, really-really, not just save-game hacking...

Bloodshadow

Tukkun, frustrating = hard.

There should be some sort of uber easter egg if you beat No-Death Mode with 20 trinkets. Maybe... You get to play as the uber rainbow elephant!!! :vitellary: :vermillion:

ryos

Since it would probably take a teenaged autistic Japanese kid to beat no death mode at all, I doubt anyone'll be taking those on any time soon.  8)

One person showed the trophy here, openly admitting to hacking.  Another person posted a video on YouTube, claiming to have beat No Death Mode, but not showing any actual gameplay -- I personally believe that it's just a hack, but who knows.

Besides these two things, I've never heard of anybody unlocking the trophy.  Unless somebody's being quiet about it, No Death Mode remains to be conquered.

The hardest challenge of all...beat the game in no death mode, collecting all the trinkets......without practice. Meaning the first time you play the game. Obviously you only get one shot.  :D

Bythos

Master of the Universe was ridiculous enough (I mean, whole Secret Lab room dedicated to a trophy that nobodies going to get? Come on!) but without altering the save game files or turning on Invincibility mode collecting 20 trinkets in no death is bordering on impossible.

Shasharala

You cannot turn on invincibility mode when you are playing no death mode.  That is, if I remember correctly...

Is THAT how some people have beaten the game in no death mode?  :vitellary:

Side note: In Invincibility mode, what happens if you're too slow in The Tower?

The screen stops scrolling until you appear on screen again. Back up your save, and try it out yourself!

I said you cannot use it in no death mode. Haha! You misread what I wrote!  ;)

Bythos

Also, how would you be able to collect all 20 trinkets w/o dying? What about Prize for the Reckless?

Timmaah!

I guess Terry forgot about that room, or assumed (rightly, I expect) that no-one would ever be able to make it that far! :victoria:

That's kind of what puts me off making a genuine attempt at it though. It wouldn't be possible to get that trinket, and 19 out of 20 would just seem too nigglingly incomplete to me.

The Brass

The room's name is something like "I can't believe you made it this far". Like in time trial, the spikes are removed.
