Hello! I just finished my project that I've been working on for DaYs... (May include some exageration) and I'm finnaly finished. :viridian:

Renato Lopes

can't open D: (I don't have any program for unzipping installed, but I still use the windows thing)

Jimmy

Hmm... You can only post Zips here I think, but I can email the file itself to you with Google Drive? Heres a link (might work)

If not, I can just email it to you.

Renato Lopes

need permission :/

But well there was a forum to a custom vvvvvv level that supported, and it used the same "engine" from this forum. You can try it, tough.

Are you having issues extracting the file, or opening the level? If you're opening it before extracting it, try extracting it first.

Jimmy

Hmm... I can share it with ur email and it might work?

Renato Lopes

thx jimmy.

Is so strange that mediafire and google drive can read the .vvvvvv file? is like that how they are?

Yep, .vvvvvv files are actually stored in text, with an XML-like format. (It's actually possible to edit them with a text editor too, which allows for a few esoteric things like polar dimensions and songs unavailable in the music menu.)

wait, are there more songs?and what are polar dimensions?

prrg

Polar Dimensions is probably the screen number, from what I know, VVVVVV level editor enables up to 20,20 screens. However, with some text modifications this number can be infinite.

prrg

Through this may cause crashes because of original game conflict, from what I know, if you place a screen at the place Gravitron appears in the original game, the game will crash while trying to load that level.

The Polar Dimension is the gray area that appears in the main game. It's possible to make a room with the Warp Zone tileset have this appearance in a custom level by changing the "tilecol" value to 6.

External editing can allow you to play songs not selectable in the in-game menu, such as the opening cutscene theme ("Plenary") or the Final Level theme ("Predestined Fate Reprise"). I don't recall what the numbers for these songs are, however.

By the way, it is impossible to have color on player levels map isn't it?
