Move while running a script?

I'm making a custom level and I'm going to have a big escape sequence at the end.  I want to use flashes as a part of this, and I figured out a way to make the screen continuously flash.  Problem is, :viridian: stops completely whenever the script runs.  Is there any way to make the flashing happen in the background while :viridian: moves, or will I have to just do something else?

I don't know for sure, but if the screen flashes without stopping, that'll be really distracting. Consider
using delay(x).

just have scripts placed randomly
have each script contain the command "flash"

This is how we did it in Dimension Open. I believe there's an internal scripting exploit to run a script and led Viridian move, as well.

the best way those were done, in my opinion are the flash+little delay, i mean, the ones of "Soul Searching" that replicate electroshocks
