but this isn't very reliable, as you likely have many different rooms with tileset=2
look for the room name that is the exact name as the one you want to change

if so, then your dumb press f1 until it says lab...

They don't looks similar. At all. The lab is the one that's all black except for the edges, which are colored the color of the room.

Here's my problem! I don't know which titles and title col the lab is! I know what it looks like, but what is THE WAY TO IDENTIFY THEIR TITLECOLS

You'll see tilecol="x" towards the beginning of the line for the particular room.  To find the room, you can just search for the roomname, since it's saved in plain text.
