Gordian Knot

Please explain how this one is even possible.

If this is possible, is there a teleporter beyond it?  If I'm supposed to actually be able to go the other way through Ha Ha Ha Not Really, I'll load from a teleporter and forget about this whole section.

EDIT: GameFaqs explains the obvious for the easy You Just Keep Coming Back:

Flip onto the platforms as they pass.

but for Gordian Knot just says

Exit Left.

which leads me to ask: is the Steam version different?

EDIT AGAIN: OK, you can just move left where you would to jump to the platform, and you'll cross the gap.  I played for twenty minutes and finally there's a 'walk across the gap' non-puzzle disguised as a particularly hard version of the usual gravity-flipping puzzle.

Does that edit mean that you've solved Gordian Knot?
I havn't played in a while and can't quite remember what it looks like.
There are some great VVVVVV wiki's out there made by members on this site that would have a perfect map replica of the game.
Hopefully you'll be able to figure it out in time.  Otherwise, maybe someone else or myself, in due time, can help you.
