Hello guys! I'm happy to be here again, after the... um... accident I explained in the topic no wait wut... in the "Everything Else" section.
However, this my newest level so far, that is a 6x10 space station map. Tried to make it as simple as I could, rerunning an esthetically neater style from Danboe's old Space Station XCIV. Seven trinkets, one crewmate, spikes for everyone, and (hopingly) fun.
~
I'm also re-uploading inVerse, my second level, since that damn bastard guy who hacked my account removed my levels too.
Tell me your time and death records and feel free to give feedback! Yes, SJ and ShinyWolf-igris. I'm referring to you.
Damn, I forgot screenshots.

(Yay, first official map for Space Station!)

The second screen of Space Station seems to be literally impossible, even with slowdown turned to the max.  The difficulty in other places seems really good, though, but I haven't finished it yet.

I completed it with normal speed, but I did it from the top.
Most of the places here were PURE EVIL, they seemed to require PERFECT movements...
Which I kind of don't like, but I can't say the same for the other people here.

Alright, I finished the level and here are my thoughts:

You need to show which ways are trinket paths.  Since this is a linear level, the challenge in obtaining trinkets is not finding them, and it's usually not feasible to go back.

You mean Hand Deliver or Exposed Machinery?
The first's technically one of the easiest rooms, just pick the right time, then jump after enemies and it's done (it's preferred to wait for enemies to be condensed below, and pass above them) The second has a trick: you have to ride the conveyor that begins in Tripod and flip to the top platform. I thought it could be difficult to understand. (Also, I think you noticed Viridian can flip a moment after falling.)

Aaand, I didn't even understand what's wrong with trinkets. So I will upload a complete Trinket Walkthrough.
1. Curiosity Killed The Cat Just die after taking the trinket. The checkpoint spawn will lead you directly to Radiowave Caption Antenna, where you can continue your adventure.
2. First Engine It's actually possible. After climbing up again from Clustered Into Boxes and Lie To Me, you just have to go down to Ducts and make your way again for Got Tubes?.
3. Asmodean's Trinket / Nine Zero Four Same line of reasoning. Dying will make you spawn back to Symmetrical Enemy Generator.
4. Trinketeque As for trinkets 3 and 1.
5. In Sequence The Alignment Method and the trinket room are perfectly backtrackable, and have no checkpoints. Dying means returning to the beginning to the challenge, and at the junction point.
6. Reversed Antichamber See above on trinket 5 explanation.
7. After This Commercial Take the trinket and go left. Back to Work Now will lead you back to Third Engine.
About showing paths -- an adventure is curiosity, and curiosity equals discovery. Seems like a quote but it's not... however, by showing paths I think you'll lose any interest in discovering new paths. Want a trinket? Search a way to reach it.

I will limit myself to list the notable flaws of this level:
Flips reliant on a glitch and being incredibly strict even with it
Flips that just plain rely on luck.
Multiple branched sections with no-return points and no way to see which one is the intended path and wich one is a trinket challenge. Impossible backflips on conveyors.
Trinkets that require you to die after obtaining them.

You know what, I'm gonna make a fix too.  This one makes the start possible and edits some roomnames to show trinket paths.

I just did: i also added a way to reset the reckless challenge, and included a checkpoint on the trinket. A totally luck based jump after a check point starvation? man, this is too cruel.

It is okay to make hard levels, but yours are hard for all the wrong reasons: luck-based challenges, trinkets easily missable and forever lost...

And sorry for the "rated in negatives" post. I got too far.

There is no need to change roomnames. That's the Roomtext tool is for. Take a look.

I know, I just have a thing against roomtext.

LafondaSaysMeow

And I'm sitting here thinking...

I got ALL the trinkets first try?!?!

I still have a thing for one of the ending sequences.

If you consider hard in-air manoeuvres as "luck" and lack of will to explore as "missing trinkets"...
Also, I don't like roomnames in one of the edits. It's horrible to see that "Trinket Challenge" stuff smashed in your face. Roomtext is even worse, tho. And, about the first room, now it's too easy to be considered as hard as the other ones. But it's okay about this last thing.

In the end, I'm gonna quote myself. (meh, sounds so narcissistic)

There wasn't any roomtext or roomname for trinket challenges in Open's Space Station.
Or in any of VC7's levels.

That's because of two possibilities: you searched in the map, or you just completed the Level with the spirit I want the players to have while beating my levels. In both cases, I like this guy.

That's how you consider too cruel the VVVVVV Reckless Challenge itself. And, it's not luck, just timing.

SJMistery

Congrats. You managed to make me regret being polite...

That is absolutely fair, but shit, it's better than the other way.  After all, this level—like your others—has terrible replay value.  Now, truth be told, I don't really know how to fix that, but I am absolutely sure there's some guide somewhere.

Another thing you could try doing is spawning trinkets with IS to point the way.
