I haven't seen it, but there's not much I can do about that, any more than I could stop people torrenting the game or downloading it on rapidshare or whatever.

My guess is that they probably cracked the Kongregate version.

And now that I look at it, the background is the wall texture from the latter half of the final level. It's indeed now the VVVVVV board.

Rapidshare and torrents may be a wild west, but *** is a stable website and very tangible. They even have their own legal email adress. Certainly stoppable if you want, but a free ad's a free ad.

Embedded or not, it can still easily be downloaded.

But paying for the game is the coolest, so when you've already lost so many cool points the file format matters little.
