App Store download not working

I've downloaded VVVVVV from the app store but I cant seem to open it. when I click on the Icon all I get is a blank window ( see attachment)
I'm on a 2008 macbook running snow leopard (fully updated)

Any ideas guys?

This is really bizarre; I've never seen it before

My best guess is that you've got some corrupted flash player settings, and that the game won't start because it's trying to create a shared object for the savegame file, and it's not being allowed to.

I think if you follow these instructions to uninstall the flash player, and then reinstall it, it should work.

Sadly, I've just tried this and it still doesn't work.
Any other ideas?
I've also tried reinstalling vvvvvv itself.

No need to apologise, it's obviously not intended.
I'll stay subscribed to the thread, just let me know if you have any ideas for a fix.
If nothing comes up I'll just ask the app store for a refund.

I have the same situation. Black window and that's it.

Ok, I have a solution that works with Flash Player 10.3. Switch Flash's local storage setting to "allow sites to save information" and launch the game. Should be ok. After that you can switch the setting back your preference and the game still works even when restarted.
