This was a pretty neat level, but I see some MAJOR flaws with it.
1) There's no music! I get that it's supposed to give the level a sort of """atmospheric""" feel, but honestly, no music is just obnoxious, especially on such a long level. "Presenting VVVVVV" is a good track for atmospheric levels, and so is "Predestined Fate".
2) "I followed my heart" commits the greatest sin possible in a VVVVVV level: out-of-sync enemies. This is really, really annoying if the player doesn't get a break between each enemy. So, uh, don't do that?
3) "Got broken down by desire" is a humongous difficulty spike relative to the rest of the level. I actually needed to remove an enemy in the editor (although I could just be bad...). Your level is mostly pretty easy, so such an absurd change of pace for just one room feels weird.
4) No optional trinkets.
this one isn't actually a real problemThe level was cool otherwise, even if the level design wasn't the most original in the world.
Total stats:
Time: ~15 minutes
Deaths: 128 (mostly from "Got broken down by desire")
Trinkets: 1/1, of course.
also the room names are from songs, duh
