Back To VVVVVV Is a great level made by FIQ, a great level creator, btw. I have the download for the level at the bottom. It's basically the same map as the main adventure, but with some new levels and removed places. (If you have a level that's almost an exact replica of Dimension VVVVVV, let me know) You basically have too turn off power switches for Vita, and once you are in the Polar dimension, The Same Instability Problem happens as in Dimension VVVVVV Anyway, I gtg, I'll add on to this tomorrow.

TheFullestCircle

I'm currently working on an "exact replica"-type level called "Alternate Dimension". Probably about 1/4 of the way done.

http://distractionware.com/forum/index.php?topic=1003 original 2012 topic for the level (there's a disclaimer at the top to pm him if youre wondering about how he did something but he's no longer active so you can just ask here if you want i guess)

Has anyone made a replica of the 2 Intermissions and the final level? (without the credits of course) yes, I know, I could just use finalmode, but it crashes at timeslip, and the other 2 intermissions have teleporters I want to be able to edit it.  :D

Actually! If you turn on manual mode, it's available (it's not available in automatic mode because there isn't one tile color that belongs to the rainbow background)

Not strictly correct.  It actually gives you the rainbow background from "Anomaly" and "Purest Unobtainium".

I know it's a fairly old thread, but I couldn't help but admire this level; I've just finished it, and the whole thing simply blew me away!

One of the most polished and advanced levels out there - it gave the feeling of playing a revamped version of the original game.  I guess that's what FIQ was going for, and it was executed immaculately!

Being completely honest, recently there's been a lot of levels that raise the bar even higher--Back to VVVVVV was very, very impressive when it was released, but now we've discovered newer things and stuff

So what I'm saying is, since you enjoyed Back to VVVVVV so much, you should check out newer levels instead of a lot of the old ones

pixelator

serial escalation of bar-raising:

back to vvvvvv -> dimension open -> overdose (first level to use custom assets?) -> unshackled -> the top three 2018 contest round 2 levels -> detox -> all four of the 2019 team contest levels

tolp2 would fit in there somewhere if it wasnt   died
