Not sure I would exactly call Overdose "raising the bar" from Dim.Open... Actually, from a standpoint of pure IS mastery, I'm not sure *any* level has beaten Back to VVVVVV yet. tOLP2 might qualify, but yeah it's dead.

overdose was i think the first finished released level to have custom music, but others had used custom graphics before. still, the egotistical part of me thinks that overdose was a trendsetter for the modern era of asset-heavy high-concept stuff, though it's in no way an upgrade from dim open. also overdose is bad, but then again back to vvvvvv is also kinda bad yet it's still very influential and important for its time

also although tolp2 was never completed, it's still interesting to look at as a sort of missing link between the back to vvvvvv/dimension open trend of Really Big IS Levels and the more recent stuff
