There is a difference between someone offering their game for free and pirating it, I agree, and from your perspective it makes sense. For me, the difference is quite the opposite probably because I'm more prone to buy something from someone if they give it out for free because I feel I can support that ideologically.

And justjoshb, well, what can I say? Whether I'm an anarchist or not doesn't matter now does it? I only brought it up to demonstrate that pirate ideology is not one-sided and in Sweden the pirate party have members who are both communists and super capitalists! I don't see any other way which the world can be run than with free information: without hate, mistrust, lack of progress and inequality!

I have made my point though and will not continue the discussion as I do not deem it very productive. :)

This is actually quite funny as I used the pirated Windows version .exe to make a working Wine version from my legally bought OS X copy  :D
Oh, the pirate copy does seem to have a trojan in its uninstaller!
