... Wat?

Sorry, your post's wording was... confusing.

*looks at it again*  :vitellary:  It was confusing....  :verdigris:
Anyway!  :viridian:

What I meant was to make a new Topic  "Compressing your leVVVVVVels"
Then write instructions with screen-shots on how to compress , and attach the levels to the forum without using Megaupload or any other site. We can then ask Terry to pin that topic on top for everyone to see.

I am making one right now as we speak.
I will PM you two for confirmation!

I'm not sure "how to make a zip file" is something we really need to pin... The levels forum is messy enough already!

If you make that topic, though, I'll link to it in the tutorial thread.

I have sent a PM to Terry, PJ and Inventive a PM about the tutorial for feedback, improvements and approvals ~   :viridian:

How do you get your leVVVVVVels to attachment size?

Put them in a compressed folder, and attach the folder in a post. Simple.

Now stop using that confusing-as-hell Dropbox thing.  :violet:

If dropbox is confusing for you, then you have a lot to learn about how to download files on the internet.

Attachments aren't exactly pretty when you are making changes to a level during its development. A single dropbox link will suffice as long as you replace the same file with the same filename every time you update it. It's simple for the uploader, it's simple for downloaders; what's the problem with it?

Besides, there are cases where the attachment filesize limit would be exceeded even after compressing, what are you going to do then?

Attachments are never a problem for me when I update; I guess I'm the only one who minds it.

Well, then you use dropbox or whatever.

Dropbox's links are fine as long as they're direct download *click n' download*
Sometimes users upload it to MediaShare or MegaUpload for a 200kb file let's say. That alone is annoying , thus why we support "Attaching" to the forums by Zipping files and making iit small enough to attach it to the website.

If you want to use Dropbox to Direct-Download go right ahead, I use DropBox too sometimes  :viridian:

Still, a tutorial on "How To Zip Up and Attach to the Forums" will be appreciated  :viridian:
