Hi, I'm a translator from the Steam Translation Server, and I'm interested on translate the game into spanish.
If no one did it before, I want talk with the principal creator of the game to make the spanish translation and do it official.

I tried this with a screenshot once. The problem is that there are several enemies that are words themselves, and Spanish word lengths are too different from the English ones. Example: in one room there are two enemies consisting of the word "OBEY." Trying to fit "OBEDEZCA" or similar into that space just wouldn't work.

Still, if you translate everything else into Spanish, I'm sure it'd just be an oversight. Once hitch in the plan doesn't have to ruin the whole thing!

Yep, but in that case you must search a synonym of the word; maybe could be "ACATA" or "CEDE" (from the spanish verbs "Acatar" and "Ceder")
Another thing is that would be better "OBEDECE" instead of "OBEDEZCA", because the game use a coloquial text all the time.

I would be very interested in translating the game
I don't think translating the whole thing is a good think, but a least the dialogues and rooms names, tha way we shouldn't change it too much, and btw keeping the game soul as much as possible

hi,
actually this will be quite hard to translate this one, because everything is compiled in the executable, so we can't translate everything, also we would have to make a translation for each platform with a hex-editor, and btw we won't be able to release it online because we would actually ship the whole game along with the translation
We could alway start working on the translation on our side but without the dev agreement, it cannot be released
the best still being a language changing feature inside the game, and a launchpad page
anyway, I hope this will be possible
