Branching off this thread, because this is enough of a topic on its own. This thread may contain spoilers.

Simple question: What cool thing(s) have you done in VVVVVV that you think deserves its own achievement, trophy, or unlockable?

Some starters:

* Your Tears, So... Delicious: Collect the "Doing Things the Hard Way" trinket.*
* Daredevil: Collect the "Prize for the Reckless" trinket.
* Pacman: Collect the "Edge Games" trinket.

* Mr. Savesalot: Complete the normal game with no deaths.

* Speedy: Complete the game in under an hour.
* Super Speedy: Complete the game in under thirty minutes.

* V Science: Complete The Laboratory without dying.
* World 8-1: Complete The Warp Zone without dying.
* Jenga Puzzle: Complete The Tower without dying.

* Frugal: Complete the game with under 3000 flips.
* Stingy: Complete the game with under 2000 flips.
* Conservationist: Complete the game with under 1000 flips.

* V to the N: Complete the game five times.

* Puppet Master: Complete Intermission 1 with every possible crew member.
* Super Collider: Complete The Gravitron in Intermission 2 without dying.

* Skeleton Key: Unlock everything without cheating.

* A Winner is You: Pester Terry enough to be in the credits. ;)

------

* Ideally, each trinket could have its own name in the storage room, as you walk by them.

Emotion based:
* QQ: Feel empathy with a pachyderm (become sad watching the elephant)
* Dunce: Be ashamed of yourself (stand in the "Naughty Corner" in the Secret Lab.)

Gameplay based:
* Second verse, same as the first: Die twice in a row doing the same thing (that is, you walk right through a checkpoint into a spike doing nothing else than holding right, then you respawn and keep holding right and do the same damn thing (happens to me sometimes, brain fart))
* Don't learn much, do ya boy?: Die on the same spike 5 times in a row
* Freefallin': Flip downwards across more than N screens without touching left or right (I don't know what's the absolute longest fall)
* 'nillafeerF: Flip upwards in the same way
* You're so vain: Visit the trophy room more than 30 times.
* Meanie: Finish Intermission 1 with your escort dying more times than you did
* Quick draw: Flip within 0.10 of a second of entering a new room
* False draw: Die within 0.10 of a second of entering a new room

Ignoring Outer Space and any room that wraps around, I can get around 5 screens without moving, 12 otherwise (from the hole just left of The Tower).

I would thus add:
* Infinite Loop: Fall for over 30 seconds. (Wasn't that a Portal achievement?)

It was 30,000 feet in Portal.  That took a really long time considering terminal velocity.

Wouldn't that require an infinite loop then? You fall through a single screen in less than a second, and the world map is less than 30 screens high.

It does. There are levels where this is possible. ;)

Well, obviously, but that's kinda easy to do.
