I think I'm gonna murder myself before it even comes out.  :victoria:
I mean, now I HAVE to get a 3DS!
Traveling with VVVVVV in your pocket? I mean.. COME ON!
That is the end of my statement.

Damn It AL to Hell

I'm just glad this actually came out, I remember when I got the game and had to take a long trip the day after, and I only got to the lab, VVVVVV should definitely be portable.

I hope it's free!
And you're right. Who doesn't want VVVVVV on the go? I'D KILL A LLAMA FOR IT!

Free? Terry can't buy another accordion without sufficient funds, you know.

I read somewhere that there's some sort of unique content for the game -- 'Wonder what it is.

Yeah, it looks great! Not sure hoe the 3D is going to affect it at all, but whatever :P

I'll definitely pick it up when I get one.

I've actually been wanting to see a game use stereoscopic sprites. Nintendo's own 3D remasterings (Excitebike, et al) weren't purely sprite-based. Maybe if it works for VVVVVV, other games will follow suit. (Not those hard-headed jerks at Nintendo, though.)

Seeing VVVVVV for 3DS would be cool! Even though I don't have one... I just wonder how popular it would be/how many people would buy/play it?  :vitellary:

Well, I mean, I already have VVVVVV. I don't want to pay for it twice. (Well, technically, I was gifted the PC version, but I'm 14, have no job, no life, and no money, so I can't really buy it.) There should be a code or something so that people who have bought it can get the 3DS version for free instead of paying twice.

Think about this.
If you buy Sonic Generations on PC, you have to buy another copy for Nintendo3DS, XBOX360 and PS3.

Why? So Nintendo, Microsoft and SONY can profit from that instead of giving it away for free.

Like Terry, they want to profit from the game and I highly doubt that any company can give you a redeem code to download the game for free, unless Terry and companies authorize it , which I doubt it'll go through.

Either way, I'd like to see a 3DS version, but I wonder... what's the 3D going to be like? o.o

Well, Terry is nice. And, he's, y'know, a people-person...

Judging from the (monoscopic) image in the press release, it looks like it will be identical to the original game in monoscopic mode. Unless I miss my guess, stereoscopic mode will add the illusion of depth by separating the various foreground and background layers. Kind of like this:

That reminds me, I need to figure out how to convert that to a format the 3DS can read so I can show people.
