I'm new to these forums, not sure if this belongs to tech support or VVVVVV general. I've searched but couldn't find anything related here nor on the Steam Users' Forums.

I bought VVVVVV on Steam and it has been working fine for me. With the 2.0 update, I read there's now a Linux version.

Is there any way for me to obtain this version, having purchased it on Steam?

Terry

Yep! Just send me an email with your steam receipt and I'll send you the linux version! :viridian:

Thanks for the quick response!

I've sent an email. :viridian:

I have the same problem, but it was gifted to me :| Is there anyway to get the Linux version if the windows/mac version was gifted to me on steam?    :victoria: I really hope there is...

What about providing the linux binaries in the steam folder Terry? Or a secret key/url to download the linux version outside?

I just downloaded the binaries from the other thread here and put them in the Steam VVVVVV folder. It seems to work without problems, hope I'm not missing anything... hope Terrry can confirm this way everything is in place? It would help not filling Terry's email box, although I don't know how many VVVVVV linux players there are  ;)
